I am alone and there are days when I am truly happy and content. Am I happy everyday? No I'm not,for that would be unrealistic.
My secret to happiness is that I am VERY good at eliminating stress from my life.
I am in control of my life,no one else is. There isn't a single person in the world that tells me what to do or gives me orders.
Even clients because I have more work than I can handle,so if my customers give me a hard time,I simply tell them to go elsewhere.

I've learnt to keep lifes expectations attanable and not shoot for the stars.
I have a good life,better than most. I fear that if I brought in a woman,she might tip over the delicate balance I've built and ruin everything. So for the present,I'm staying solo.

Is defensiveness any better? Hyper defensiveness is a trait many have here. They take things waaaaay too hard and WOW!
To my mind one is as bad as the other.
I question how some on here can function in RL if they appear so thin skinned and oversensitive in the virtual world. They seem ill equipped to me.......poor babies.

Males of any species are not monogamous by nature. But monogamy is a better way of life if the man has the fortitude and motivation to be so.
Motivation can come in the form of disease prevention,but should come in the form of compassion for his mate.
Not wanting to hurt of betray her,should be deterrant and motivation enough.

Frank,a bit off topic here but levelling out low spots wasn't an option on one of my sheds. It was too far gone so I built a canopy over it.(12X16) Even with the tin roofing it cost me only $550 to build it.
I built the canopy with a slant so the snow falls off. I thought it a better option than to redo the roof.

Teddy when I read your blog I was amazed. While my story is not as dramatic as yours,there are many similarities.
I too have rescued a woman who is a very close friend of mine. She is intoxicatingly beautiful. And she has "rewarded" me(if you know what I mean)
Finally there came a day when I had enough. I cut her loose,not easy with such a lovely looking woman,but I did.
Years later she came back in my life and had done some maturing. She is now a together person who has self respect.
She is someone I can go to for advice and support. I can only hope that your story turns out with a happy ending like mine did...good luck to you with this.

Respect also is earned,not freely given. I can respect the fact that you are from Vietnam, but can write and read English very well.
I can also respect the fact that you appear to be a decent person.

Lifeisbest,I just wanted to state that you are one of my favorite bloggers. You often demonstrate compassion for others on here,and you try hard to get along with everybody.

Don't worry hon,lots of people like you on here. I mean afterall,are we not on each others friendship list?
I believe that you are a decent woman whose heart is in the right place. But the net like real life has mean people in it.
Don't allow them to ruin your day.
Keep posting and soon you will be able to separate the good from the bad here.
I am doing exactly that and the difference is obvious between the two.
We have quality people here who are mature adults. And we have tempermental ingrates who lack humor and intellect. And yes those who are just plain miserable and mean.

A good man and a good woman compliment each other. They ought to bring out the best in each other.
Problem is that often one will attempt to supress and dominate the other.
A house divided against itself cannot stand. Encourage and help the other to grow and develop.
A key ingrediant in any relationship is friendship. Friends are kind and understanding to each other. That's not rocket science but merely good common sense........kindness........not so hard to implement.
The dividends if you apply it are enormous for both.
