This bright and courageous young girl who stood up for the rights of education for her fellow students is fighting for her life because of the evil Taliban who want to take this country back into the dark ages again.She has sacrificed her life for the sake of others , and for the rights of others. to something as simple as the right for an education for women.
As she says herself it is not written in the Koran that women cannot be educated.
There has been major advances in recent years in education of women both in Afghanistan and Pakistan. the statistics are wonderful and encouraging...
I am not religious at all , but my deepest thoughts and feelings go out to this brave young woman who has stood up for what was right , at great cost to her own safety. My best wishes go to her family and i have hope she will recover . This is the closest to prayer i can get.
There can be no punishment great enough for those ignorant idiots who think they are doing this in the name of Islam ... this action is very un-islamic, Islam means peace....
I created this blog after the former one was deleted quite quickly before my eyes as i was making comments . It was a great blog and deserved to remain here for all to see .. I thank the lady for having such feelings on such an awful situation for this poor brave girl. and giving me the inspiration to also mention the story.

Remember Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and she survives today as far as I know.
I would rather see her recover than reach the Pinnacle of martyrdom,
