RE: Belief in God 1

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord.

If a child is told about God then those words do not return void. There is power in our words.

If you train a child in the way that he should go then when he is old he will not depart from it.

Many people may teach their children about God yet not even have faith themselves. When children come of age they no longer accept what their parents have told them as truth without testing. As adults experience God in their lives and establish a close relationship with Him their faith, trust, and belief grows. Having the faith of a child is what we should aspire to.

I hope this helps.

My Messy Life Part 2 - Men Please Comment

Hmmm...Non I think you answered it perfectly. So maybe I would get help if I were wearing a French maid outfit, but probably not much house cleaning would get accomplished.blushing

My Messy Life

Thanks Raven. Doing well. I am enjoying reading the blogs. Not emailing much anymore. I haven't forgotten about your request. The historical society is closed until next week because of construction. Not sure if I will find anything but I will ask.

My Messy Life

Ed- Thanks for the prayers. I can always use them! I trust the big man. He made me. He knows the desires of my heart. He hasn't changed them so I'm hopeful for His plan.

My Messy Life

Plain- - It is wonderful to "clean" your life but unfortunately there are many things we cannot control. I do not want my life on hold. Yes I would be so much more attractive without the mess, but since I cannot change my current mess, it is just take me as I am. When that man shows, it will be worth it, because I have no doubt that there will be messes in the future. Thanks for the well wishes.

RE: The Facts About 777

Ok, I have never heard of the 777. I have however heard that the number 7 is the number of completion.

From the 7 days of creation to the 7 seals in Revelation...

The bible is riddled with 7s. It is a great number.

RE: Communion Time

My youngest son made his first communion this Mother's Day. I have to say it was my favorite of all my children. If you could see his face. His eagerness and genuine heartfelt commitment you would have experienced joy. My son felt like he waited forever. As the youngest he saw all of his siblings take communion and he was not allowed. This young man attended every class with eagerness. He requested a dark suit for the occasion which I could not afford but purchased anyway. When he went up to receive his first communion he bowed low and meticulously followed the appropriate steps. I cried of course as I do at all special events and he beamed the biggest smile from ear to ear. It did not matter what we did after. It was the event itself that was so special and will be remembered.

I try to make faith in our home special, a treat, not a burden. I think it is all in the attitude. Congratulations to your son.

Heck, even my oldest teenager cried and that in itself speaks volumes.;)

Buyer Beware

Thanks everyone. For the record, I reported the last guy and he was deleted. Fingers crossed for the future.
