The Facts About 777
Whereas the number 666 is very explicitly referenced in the bible, 777 is never mentioned. When trying to find an explanation, these were the most popular:1. 777 represent the Trinity.
2. 7 Churches, 7 Stars/Angels and 7 Lamp stands.
3. 7 Horns, 7 Eyes and 7 Spirits of God.
There are many other instances of 7 being used. 7 is a very popular number in the bible; probably derived from the creation. So is 12; probably initiated by Jacob’s 12 sons. And 40; like the 40 days and 40 nights of rain during the deluge. 430 is another such number. And 5.
Mathematically there is nothing special about the number 7. It is the fourth prime number. Preceded by 2, 3 & 5 and followed by 11, 13, 17 etc. The factors for 777 (3 X 7 X 37) are equally unimpressive. From a pure mathematical viewpoint 666 is a much more interesting number.
I might be wrong, but as a lifelong biblical scholar, my conclusion is that 777 is a man made number without any foundation in the bible; therefore not holy at all.
So my question is: Who had the audacity to assign a number to God?
To assign a number to a god was a Babylonian practice. Could it be that 777 was ‘invented’ to get the attention to away from the pointing finger of 666 and its Babylonian origin? Remember, the Babylonian religion was amalgamated with the Christian Church in 425 ADE by command of the Roman emperor Constantine.

Very interesting
Believe me, you have several numbers assigned to you
I again love numbers. The are so logical. Almost magic the way they balance. And the beauty of it that even the '0' is not less important than the others.
That is why the Romans were such lousy mathematicians. The did not know about '0'. The Greeks must have been canning themselves.
Indeed so; also a little bit controversial. It may ruffle some feathers.
I may join you there shortly. I only have 25 Mb of data left and not buying. I am getting a new internet router tomorrow with a better monthly data bundle included. Buying small bundles is a waste of time.
It is good to see you again.
No, I did not know that. Now that is a very real number; and evil.
I missed you for a few days too.
Oddly, when I googled 777 the aircraft came up first too. More topical I suppose.
i used to be an alien thou, but its vey hard for an alien to get a boyfriend around here
Hmm, I have green blood too; and it glows in the dark.
Now I know very little about aircraft too, but when I was young I was an expert. I could quote the vital stats of almost every conceivable aircraft of the time; American, Russian, French, British, you name it.
Now...
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you a great day!
i thouht it was in bible.
speaking of numbers here is one that deserves a good chew of a straw!
a) Now we all accept that 1/0 = ~ (one divided by nought equals infinity)
b) Then 1= 0.~ (one should equal nought times infinity)
c) and 0= 1/~ (nought should equal one divided by infinity)
Now the question is- although a) and b) seem to be mathematically sound, are they valid definitions?
Interesting.
I also thought it was in the Bible.
Interesting yes; and disturbing.
No, it is nowhere in the bible. Not in any of the translations I know.
Hmm, nothing to do with age; simply lost in time!
Ditto to you; it is not in the bible.
A lesser known fact is that the number six gave control over the three main Babylonian gods; the father, the mother and the son.
According to the Babylonians Marduk, the sun god was married to the moon goddess. They were the parents of the all the other gods. This trinity made way to the more modern trinity of today.
The brain not only radiates certain wavelengths, but also receives them. It is very possible that diffent frequencies may enable or disable certain brain functions.
I add with multiply 7's in order to forgive others
I had forgotten to mention that this blog was inspired by a little yellow bird who whispered something in my ear.

Yes, that is the closest reference to 777 in the bible. 70 times 7. First used by Daniel while in Babylon and again by Jesus.
At first I thought that 70 times 7 was used for 490 would have been an astronamocally large number to the illiterate Peter; until I found the other reference to it in Daniel.
You have undoubtedly notice the very low frequencies.
Why be silent girl.
If you know something that I don't know yet then I'm very inquisitive.
Indeed, most interesting. I will get my hands onto a NIV as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
This is so very interesting. What I thought was only theory is in fact practice. Of course we wont know the side effects for years to come, maybe not for generations.
I was so upset, we argued.. then she gave in and gave me a deal. She said "All right, I'll tell ya what I'l do. I'll give ya those shirts at 3.33 each."
I said "Well Aww rrright! Now, we got a deal!"
Cool! What a deal I got. huh?
You are a better man than what I am. I would have insisted on paying 2.20 each.
A while ago at at supermarket checkout my eye caught a funny price as an item was scanned. I made such a fuzz that the manager 'gave' me the entire contents of the basket just to get rid of me.
