Few things can annoy me more than people who think their cause is more important than others who are in a similar situation.BLM comes to mind. It is not that I think that black lives don't matter. To me, when a white (or black) cop kills a black (or white) man in the USA, it is no different than when a black (or white) vagrant kills a white (or black) farmer in South Africa. The fact is that all lives matter.
Sometimes we are too fond of playing the race card when we cannot get our way otherwise. In my experience such a person either secretly resent who he is and really wish he was somebody else or otherwise he uses racism as a ruse to gain sympathy for his cause.
Using racism as a prop just takes the focus away from the real problem.

Thing is I agree with you, all lives matter. But some lives matter more, to some people, than other lives. For example riots caused by the whole BLM height-of-hysteria destroyed lots of smaller shops, owned by all colours of people, but that didn't matter.
It's the underdog. We have to get indignant about the underdog. Anyone who owns anything they have worked hard to get - even a job, frankly - is an Overdog and doesn't matter nearly as much as an Underdog. The tougher life is for someone, the more support they need. So women can play the card, and disabled, and non-dominant-races and teenagers from bad homes can all play the card and the card is a pretty strong card. Except that other lives also still matter ... I think.

It is amazing. When I wrote this blog a few weeks ago it was relatively quiet in the holy land. It just comes to prove that double standards and political correctness will always upset the apple cart. Oh but of course, there are quite a few elections looming. You must remember that politicians are very skilled at self preservation.

Very recently a German Catholic abbot was harassed by a Israeli guard in Jerusalem for wearing a cross, which is part of his attire. No big deal for anyone as we didn't see a media outrage.
There are gays and trans in Muslim countries, nobody is killing them but there are rules they should comply with. It is called respectful behaviour in public places, something we don't see in our part of the world.

Now in this modern world of spoiled, it is ten times worse. Look at ads. You earned it. You deserve it. And the young believe it. If you dont act like me, think like me, dress like me, look like me..I hate you. Reason really? Because I have inherited primitive urges to fear anything different.
It all goes down to the basic animal instinct. Protect yourself, family, village. Gather all the resources to yourself and family and village. Humans are just like hyenas. Kill if you can. Steal if you can't.

But saying that Palestine is guilty for allowing Hamas infiltrate Gaza is like saying Afganistan was guilty for being taken over by the Talibans.
We did see how America and other ""civilized" countries managed" to deal with that for a couple of decades and left the country even more crippled. Israel isn't the one who decides how Palestinians should live, but they do and no one says a word.
