I ever discussed with a friend of mine about this, unconditional love seems not exists in my point of view either.
She said her parents loves her unconditional, however, I asked, if she were a spoil kid, would her parents still love her? the answer was yes, 2 years later, her parents wanted her marries with someone as they thought it would good for her future, she rejected, for this reason her parents rejected to see her too! When I talked about this with my westerner co-worker, she was quite surprised and didn't understand why on earth there are parents could reject their kid for such reason. Well, with my tradition, this situation happens not only with that friend.
That story was long time ago since I was younger at university, however, until my ages now and for all experience in life that I had, I think unconditional love does exists! For example, my neighbor, she was 40s, her husband was 50s since last 2 years, back to about 10 ago, her husband got sick and can't walk by himself, she takes care of him everyday until he passed away. Everyday she feed him, cleaned him and talked with him. In my country it is very easy getting a maid for doing all of these things with low cost, but she said she prefers to take care of him by herself even she had to be busy with her job for earn money to support her family, she was not poor, she has maid but the maid just need to help with other house-works. I do think this is unconditional love. Otherwise, it hard for me to understand why she had to take care of her husband that way, especially when I looked at the way she cares for him, the only exactly thing I can say is full of love.
It was kind of difficult for me to understand why she didn't share the job of caring for her husband with her maid, as to me I can understand that she should still love him, still talk to him everyday but if letting the maid clean him, feed him then it will help her save a lot of time. However, that was before the time I met my crocodile, after a certain time with my crocodile, I was fully understand why that neighbor wanted to maximize what she could do for her husband.
In your life, if you ever have chance to meet a person who you feel you willing do whatever you can just to make that person be happy, I call that's unconditional love. And I think there are not so many people lucky experienced this. Normally, people will set up a list of "to be with me you have to (or must) have those and these..." perhaps that is the easiest way to have a life companion. But love in my definition is something different, and when its calls love, mean always without condition! Just my opinion anyway.

Yes, indeed, and the tragedy is that there are many people turned to be robber for foods. They rob even the truck that bring foods to donate for typhoon area.... Quite sad :(
She actually woke up and left home at around 2am to go her office for editing the live-news from reporters which you saw from the clip in the link, it was not woke up and left home to run away from typhoon. She is living in same house with me and luckily we were not in central of typhoon area.
The first thing came to my mind was LOVE but after a while it was MONEY! (kidding).
Actually, I think it's not correct to ask someone for choosing between money and love. These 2 things doesn't relative to each other in my point of view because love to me doesn't mean need to consider... when you say you love someone a lot, but in the same time you are still thinking whether you should choose him/her or money, then, it's totally NOT love anymore, so, in this case, please don't say you have to choose between money or love, as it used to be loved for you but it was ended right when you bring it to compare with others. Just my opinion.
