Just example...here... on dating site... during our search when we are looking at photos ...we like some (attractive for us ),some are OK (we can compromise ) and No...thanks ...no.Is it about appearance ?
Have you met somebody who is not your type ,sat and talked with them only for half an hour and were completely captivated by their charm and witt??? Is it about personality ?
When we meet somebody ...somehow...deep inside ...we know when it feels right :-),perfect figure or not ,glasses or not,physical disability or not,stereotype of beauty or not ,we like them.
May be it is about us being unique ?

Human relationships are complicated and always have been.
The only way to know who is who to meet in real life.
Some say "stay with us on blogs and forums,with real people"
Are they real ??? You should form your opinion only on your own experience... I do...I know at least 3 people who are blogging here who are not genuine ,I met 2 of them in real life and one is definitely sick,bipolar disorder.
Making mistakes is how we learn and I agree you need to develop a thick skin to internet dating and be positive.
