Oh! Very sorry Ken! My English is not very much to understand all English words (English language). Honestly I would like to say with you that please forgive me! Thank you very much, Ken!
Ken, thank you for your comment. I am glad you have always likes John 12. But it seems you have a lack of fairness in the comparison (only one Judas = the priests). Jesus had 12 apostles (excluding 72 other disciples), in all of them there is only one Judas was greedy and he betrayed Jesus. Judas was a typical bad, who is mentioned in the Bible. But, certainly not Judas is the character that represents all priests.
Thank you for your nice comment Jim, and yes, this is just a prelude to the greatest event the world has ever known. And Resurrection Sunday is coming up.
Yes Jim, "Despite our weakness, God's promise never changes. We can return to Him time and again. His peace never fades. We can welcome it into our hearts and minds despite the chaos and storms of life swirling around us." Peter was continuously deny Jesus three times for fear of people, even his fear of the female servant, but he later regrets and tears. And it was he who Jesus was given the responsibility to take care of His Church.
I was very touched with the passages of Scripture (below), which shows us that Jesus was humble, loving, caring, attention to worry not only mentally but also physically for his disciples him: Jesus was a fire on the shore of the lake, he grilled fish and bread to prepare breakfast for the disciples. It is one of the lovely impression of Jesus in my mind,
"John 21:8-13
8 The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards. 9 When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish."
I've never played or seen any Ouija Boards or Tarot card reader, but I've seen a ghost. Maybe someone does not believe what I was going to mention this, but it is 100% true.
40 years ago, it was 1975, that time our village did not have electricity, we only lit by kerosene lamps in the house, did not have electric light bulb shining path.
It was a bright moonlight night, our mother has asked me and my sister to a grocery store to buy some things. The grocery store not far from our house, but because we were afraid of ghosts so the two go together. We went in the light of the moon. We saw a tall man come before us a very close distance. After a few minutes we found that men went into the shade of a jackfruit tree where the left curb. I guess he wanted to pee on root of the jackfruit tree.
Soon, we were going to that place. We have looked at the root tree but did not see the man again, he was gone! We did not see him come out of the shade circle of jackfruit (outside the shade that is light of the moon). If we continue to go about 30 steps next, then we would to go through a garden, which has grave of a man killed by lightning, but was too scared so we immediately ran back home!
Yes Halv, the things were contained in The Bible, which is full of status in real life people on earth, there are things that we now see it is very weird - we criticize - do not want to accept. Well just think after a thousand years or two thousand years from now, future generations later, perhaps they will criticize the era of civilization that we are doing now is disembodied, as well! :)
But good or bad, it still is what happened in time honestly at that time. "Honesty", which is one of the advantages found in the Bible, right?
Btw, I really admire your deep understanding on aspects of knowledge you have, what I have read your comments on the blogs.
P/s: Please understand ...., my English is not good, thanks so much.
Yes Johnny, studying about Jesus life, you will sure realize: how great Jesus is! And how clever, close, outgoing, loving, humbling,... etc... and full of power He is! I think that you would want to make friend with Him. And He would to become your perfect friend. And He maybe would love "the antiques, things", in your house :), I think :)
Love you!
P/s: My English is not much to write, hopefully it doesn't make you get a headache
Thank you for reading Gospels on my blogs. Before, in the past, I used to think the Bible is very dry and boring for me to read it, but since I started the whole New Testament book, THE WHOLE ... I mean start reading from page beginning of the book, and read, do not miss any letters of introduction and preface of the book before going to St. Matthew. It is the opening chapter of the book, which is very important and very interesting to read, but some people did not pay attention. Then, I was excited to read the entire New Testament to the last page. Not only read once, but several times. I do not know how to describe ... can only say that the Bible is so great! And sorry for those who have not had the opportunity to read the Bible. I have also read the Old Testament, but not all, but enough for me to realize that it is related to the New Testament, and it is also very interesting and valuable.
... By the way, I love your sense of humor, the same of Robert and Angel.
I've recieved many gift from The Lord, I mean the love of God, so I want to share my happiness to everybody, to anyone, depend on humble ability of me.
