Training Our Thoughts
Have you ever found yourself preoccupied or obsessed with something? Whether it's planning for a big event or watching back-to-back episodes of your favorite show, it's easy for a single train of thought to crowd out all others. While we may have little control over circumstances and the thoughts that come knocking on our mind's door in response, there is hope: we can choose the direction of our thoughts.“Peace I leave with you,” Jesus spoke these words knowing the pain and suffering awaiting Him the next day. He knew the fear and confusion His disciples would face and that they would flee in fear. We are simple creatures who struggle to hold multiple thoughts in our minds at once, especially when our worries and fears try to take over. Despite our weakness, God's promise never changes. We can return to Him time and again. His peace never fades. We can welcome it into our hearts and minds despite the chaos and storms of life swirling around us.
His peace can become our anchor, holding us steadfast despite crashing waves and forceful winds.
Have you sought His help and peace today?

I was very touched with the passages of Scripture (below), which shows us that Jesus was humble, loving, caring, attention to worry not only mentally but also physically for his disciples him: Jesus was a fire on the shore of the lake, he grilled fish and bread to prepare breakfast for the disciples. It is one of the lovely impression of Jesus in my mind,
"John 21:8-13
8 The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards. 9 When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish."
I like that particular scripture. It shows Christ's continuing love for us.
You can't never ask God for to much. I ask Him each day to bless my family and friends which He does.
