Thank you again for such beautiful music. Since your previous blog I liked this Belgian girls' chorus who rehash famous compositions in their own way. Brothers Kolacny, like Vivaldi, who conducted the girls' orchestra, apply to softness and tenderness of girls' voices for new sounding of well known compositions. That was one more discovery for me! Sorry for my so long absence and not commenting music you blogged: I listened to all the compositions and will write comments to your previous blog. Belaya Gvardia - is my favourite group - Yashenko writes tender and serious at the same time poetry (do you translate her lyrics?).I also likes her "I want you like me" - very tender song: and "Ressurection" and "Christmas" Her songs are often accompanied by sunny watercolor drawings by Victoria Kirdiy.

Some apple trees we plant when my children were born, and now they are huge trees, which give so many apples that you can feed several families... This summer I went to Moscow and cried in my garden: nobody takes care of it as I did...But I was happy when my neighbours invited me and showed a lot of blossoming happy plants that once I shared with them (I always did it as I wanted everybody had this beauty)... In Russia we get used to celebrate New Year with Father Frost and his granddaughter Snow Maiden, but living here we are getting accustomed to this tradition to celebrate Catholic Christmas ( Ortodox Christmas is on January, 7). As for me, I don't care the name of the holiday - I like its atmosphere of jollity, happiness, and hope for the happy new year... Every year we drive to a big lighting show to the farm in PA, since December,1 we listen to Christmas music, walk around our township looking at neighbours houses' decorations, every year we decorate a big Christmas tree in our house, and surely go to the theatre to see some Christmas performance - all of this make you feel yourself inside Christmas fairy tale like in childhood. When my children were growing up I tried not to break their belief to Father Frost as long as I could: they wrote him letters asking for presents, and on the Eve of the New Year a big bag with presents for them "was left" at our door by Father Frost... Now, having grown up, they keep these warm memories and try to make such "magic" for my granddaughter...
