Your health is your best asset, glad you survived the dreaded cancer! As for life being turned around as I wanted it, there are a lot of things we don't have any control over so it's a case of taking each day at a time and keep trucking on...
Suffice to say I'm a lot happier with life the older I get and appreciate the simple things rather than all that material stuff which people seem obsessed with getting - we came into this life with nothing and we'll leave with nothing!
Oh, I like the phrase 'illegitimi non carborundum' (contains a good swear word!) - a colleague of mine wrote it on a card for me when I was made redundant from a job hammering castings in an iron foundry some years ago. That was great fun while it lasted!!!
Think you meant 'Gusto' rather than what nearly looked like 'Guts Out'('Cos I like pizzas...) But who cares when your in the 'Grey Totty' league? Rejoice forthwith etc.
Good to know if you feel suicidal though I doubt some are as bad as they are portrayed in the media! Surely you could die in any country if the wrong events occurred whilst you were there.

And empty vessels make most noise as we are all made of stars.
That sounds like infatuation rather than 'love'! You're young, busy and right in the head for being cautious. You'll have plenty more chances to meet Mr .......!
I think you'll know when you've met the right man - He'll believe in you as you do him, it will all make sense one day!
