RE: naivety...is it sweet thing..or ignorance ?

Your right Ken a lot of mistakes made by me, my spelling and probably my thoughts on Noah but its just a blog. I'll try harder next time.

RE: naivety...is it sweet thing..or ignorance ?

How would anyone explain the old and new testaments in terms of science its not logical, it's a belief of people who lived and wrote about biblical times times Christ. Many thing in the bible are believable but we did not live in those times. According to the bible the only things God sent to Moses are the Ten Commandments of which many are in the laws of civilization. Maybe those things like Noah Arch did not happen and are lessons God teaches us.

RE: Obesity is on the rise

Hi Phyllis Processed and fast food here in the USA seems to be a big problem along with not enough exercise. I exercise but it does not seem to take the weight off and I eat my own cooking with too many carbs that's probably the culprit. For supper I had stir fry and a glass of wine but no cup cakes. rolling on the floor laughing

Near Death Experiences

Robert I was listening about your father story the other day and how you wrote he served in WW2 in those islands around the Philippines, its interesting I was reading a book the other day called "Fly Boys" and they were talking about those island jumpers in the book, it was classified information for years but they finally released it, maybe you would be interested in reading it but its pretty gory. The author also wrote "Flags of our Fathers" by James Bradley.

Near Death Experiences

Thank you all for sharing your experience and I should have taken it a step further and asked if it changed your life in any way. I glad your all here to talk about it and nam I also served in Viet Nam from 1969 to 1970 however not in a combat role but in support engineer battalion. I am glad you made it back safely, some of my friends in my neighborhood served there along with me as a medic, door gunner 2 tours and my brother also served and on the memorial in DC.

RE: The Struggle Between The Two Natures

One further comment I am sorry for judging you its not who I am.

RE: The Struggle Between The Two Natures

SistaCallie You bring this upon yourself in your judgment of others and justify your rudeness by using the bible, so as long as you continue with preaching on dating blogs you will continue to get people like me to confront you. You said it your self there is a time for everything and a time to be silent. I don't fault you completely and you have taught me things I did not know about the reasons Christians feel they have to be judgmental but all of us have that log in our eye and are not free of sin. For my part I don't know enough about religion to be confronting you and I can't speak for the others but I will leave you alone. Peace be with you.

RE: The Struggle Between The Two Natures

I would be refreshing if you would show the love you are taking about to others in your responses but I have not seen it. In your own words you are winning and kicking there butts, well good luck with that. I can see the bickering well be continued but unlike you I don't find it amusing.

RE: The Struggle Between The Two Natures

Something to think about:

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: there is no other commandment greater than these.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God. Trying to avoid any conflict at all. Whether it be in war or in your own family or friends. Some people are just born to argue and cause conflict within their own.

Do this only apply to Christians and should we not include this in our every day life or on blogs?

I will listen
