Yes, I know a couple who met about three years ago and had a long distance relationship. She was from Sweden and he from the UK. They would take turns traveling back and forth every other weekend and they also spent their holidays together. They are now happily married and living in the UK.
True Molly. We do tend to build an idyllic picture in our heads of what we think the perfect relationship should be. But with the right person, somehow it all works out.
Pedal, with the amount of rain that is falling here at the moment, this little island might well float over your direction before long. Fraya won't need to go to the sea for a swim, she can just go out into her garden. It is seriously bucketing down at the moment. Will someone please tell the Gods, that we have had more than our quota of rain for this year!
That's exactly it Molly. Of course, you know what will happen now, Pedal is going to be on his best behaviour cos all the girls will be watching him on the blogs!
That's true Molly. It might just be a simple comment on a blog that trips them up but it can be enough to make you sit up and take notice. Things that make you go "hmmmm"!!
Hi Candy. Thank you. Lucky you, just coming into summer. We have had a terrible summer with lots of rain and apparently, we are to have a very cold winter. Not looking forward to that. Fraya, you are a brave woman swimming off our shores at this time of the year. Although, I suppose it is a bit warmer down your way.
Hi Fraya, Candy and Twazzle. Thanks for the comments. I see Lucy has left the building. I don't know what the weather is like down your way Fraya but it is rotten here. Would not put my nose outside the door. Better off inside with a glass of wine. Cheers!
Ok all you lovely people, I must go now and get some food. Thank you all for your comments and for not letting my first blog fall flat on it's face! I will check back later. In the meantime - behave yourselves! Yes Lucy and Pedal, I am looking at you!! Later guys.
Interestingly, a lot of psychologists find that their patients find it easier to express themselves through writing, rather than speaking. Especially if they have suffered some sort of emotional trauma.
But Cc, surely you can sense someone's humour in their writing? There have been many blogs here that I have participated in, where the humour has been off the wall and extremely enjoyable.
Hi Cc. Yes, I'm the same. But don't you think that some people reveal their true selves on the blogs, no matter how hard they try to conceal it they eventually let something slip and you see them in a different light?
Oh Sol - now I'm upset! You know that I am just the shy retiring type! I think that eventually, the real person is revealed in their posts. I have certainly seen it here!
I hope you didn't scare him away Lucy! Has anyone here ever been interested in someone and then upon reading their posts, been completely turned off, or vice versa?
Compulsory Blogging.
Hmmm Molly, are you thinking what I'm thinking? I always wanted to visit Canada!!
