To me money is not everything. It certainly can not buy happiness. In fact, one can be very happy without the stress money brings. My main dream in life is to experience true love and the peace and contentment it brings.
Yes, I believe love can happen - even online. I know a couple who met online. She lived in Alaska. He lived in New Hampshire. They met on online in an internet game room. They emailed and chatted online and talked on the phone. Finally, he flew up to Alaska to be with her. They got married about a week later. That was back when the internet was just becoming popular. So, yes it can happen. The chances of it ...well probably about as good as winning the lottery.
I'm glad you are finally home. If you get a chance check out the food at the Black Bear Diner. It is amazing. It was my favorite place to eat when I was there.
I think I've tried just about everything out there, over the years. For me, I found that one thing would work for awhile and then stop working. So, I had to keep changing what I did. When I was a my heaviest, exercise was out of the question because I needed oxygen just to breathe and could barely walk 5 ft without stopping. Diet, then, was the only option. For about 6 weeks, my doctor but me on a protein shake only, plus water diet. One shake per day. It was a prescription thing and tasted horrible. I was so nauseous after drinking it, I was glad it was only once a day. I lost about 50 pounds on those. Then, when I was allowed food, I tried weight watchers. It didn't work. I gained back 3 pounds. So, I tried the South Beach diet. I lost another 30 lbs or so when it quit working. I tried a green tea diet and lost another 15. The most effective diet I found was Atkins. When I finally lost enough to tolerate exercise, I found that belly dancing worked for me.
The ultimate recreational vehicle is, in my opinion, a 2016 Western Star 5700 with a Detroit DD16 and a Eaton Fuller 10 speed transmission. 48 ft reefer behind that and you can easily become a paid tourist, if you do long haul work.
