RE: Medical cannabis

Hi Pat
when I did a voluntary stint in Sierra Leone, for the Ebola outbreak,,
when there was a shortage in medical supplies, we gave the very I'll patients Cannabis oil.
it is illegal in S.A. , not being sneeky, but we could not see the ill person sufferings any more.
Price wise, very expensive, but worth it. I keep cannabis pure oil at my home for medical purposes
if and when the time arrives. There is no smell , and the amount taken is not larger that a grain of rice.
I highly recommend PU'RE Cannabis oil.

RE: Alternative New Year Resolutions

Hello Map
Well I have a lot of guests coming from Madeira and Australia and this will be the menue.
The Mopane Worm, also known as Imbrassia belina, and is fried until crisp(very fatty) it’s a staple food for many people in Africa. These little worms can grow quite large given a chance, which they rarely are nowadays.
If you’re grossed out by Mompane worms, you probably won’t like this little beetle one bit. Served chiefly along the West Coast of Africa, this dark-coloured bug is eaten dry as a crunchy snack. The bugs are caught and have their innards squeezed out before being baked or fried until they are crispy. And the final sheeps head with slap chips, washed down with a glass of hot blood.ENJOYblushing

Hello Map
I fully agree. Could not have put it in better words than yours. I can see clearly now why there is a lull in blogs

Gentlejim
I salute you and give thanks to you and those who risk their life's for the nation.
My late father was also in the military, and received a purple heart and other medals.
I now have a grandson who is in the British military as an engineer, and before going off to a war torn country he was allowed to come see me in South Africa before being shipped off to a place he would not say. The marines
To my knowledge have made the best and most honoured men there are. I speak from my son in law , who is a real darling. And without a doubt your persona comes across to me as your profile name

Thankyou for the change, it was much needed. Love the new format , and hope this dating site grows from

RE: Friendship between Muslim and Catholics?

Hi MaruQ
Most certainly. In the country and the city I reside in Muslim people are plenty. And the majority people I come in contacted with are Muslims in the business sector. They loving and very kind people, so I do not see a problem at all, and yes I am catholic even if I don't talk about my beliefs

Now this is a man after my heart. VERY WELL SAID AND so very very true if only
We could have everyone with the same mindset Imagine what a wonderful world
You truly make the best sense I have heard on this blog for along time

RE: What is happening in our beautiful country? Orlan

L.J.
And just to add Cape Town has the largest community of Muslims, but we have yet to meet a radical group
As we respect their religion as they respect ours, so not too sure whether there is a difference in the mindset
Of the Muslim people in America , just wondering as we have not had so much hate displayed as in America

RE: SA.. Is there Hope?

Hi Luke
It is a situation that is getting out of hand. On the one side we have black and white getting on with each other. But then you have the other group that are not wanting to let go of the atrocities. On set we have the very well know actor Idris Elba shooting the up and coming movie
The Dark Tower, with Matthew McConaughey. And even Edris remarked about the uneasy feeling of being robbed or attacked. Therefore we have him well guarded, which is a shame as one would want to have freedom of movement.

What an honourable thing to do.I did not know SIMMO but reading your comments,he MUST have been a very loving man indeed. M.H.S.R.I.P.

RE: "REGULAR MAN"

Hi Nam
The cars made today are made out of tinfoil. Just one sneeze and you get a ding in it.Here in South Africa the druggies steal your battery that operates the motor connected to the gate. They then remove the chemicals inside the battery to make up their drug potion, and leave the cars.I have my eye on a very old Pontiac on set that I am hoping to buy once the shoot is over. The leather inside is emaculate and so is all the fittings.

RE: "UNDERSTANDING MAN"("RATED "G")(10)

Hi Namaron
Yes I must say I have my time so cut out that I have to race through the blogs
But then again I will only remark on a subject which I find is worthy of a response
Such as yours, I find intelligence very note worthy and worth the time I will spend to
Answer, have an awesome week-end and come back with interesting sites on you trip
Good blog and don't stop sharing,

RE: "UNDERSTANDING MAN"("RATED "G")(10)

Hi namaron
I most sincerly must agree with some of the blogs being rated,
But then again , it is entirely up to who ever wants to participate
I must say that reading a blog a few minutes ago made my hair stand on end
We are I hope all responsible grownup and can make our own choices as to which
Blogs we partake in and which we don't--which we want to read and which we don't
But I must admit that when you read a blog that openly discusses being married and
The other person actually saying ?..,! It's fine fantasize about me ,! That I find nauseating.
I am no prissy , but give me a break, it goes on about the terrible life it had, yet how would
It feel if its other half was chatting up a storm. This is by no means my business but I can
Only pity this person, and to think I tried to side for it in my last blog , which may I say I
Regretted, Love your way of writing,

RE: Wise Sayings

Hi G.J. Another one bites the dust
There’s this retired couple who are both feeling that their memory is getting worse. They’re watching television and when a commercial comes on, the wife says, “Honey, I’m going to get some ice cream. Do you want some?” “Oh, I’d love some,” he says, “but you’d better write it down; you might forget.” She says, “Oh, I can certainly remember that!” Well, she’s gone for quite a while, and when she finally comes back she gives him a plate of eggs. He looks at the eggs and looks up at her and says, “You see, I told you you’d forget the toast!”

RE: Had enough

Hi O.B
I have read some of your blogs and at times just smile at the banter.
But you are so right, why all the faceless people. This is what the dating sites are all about,I am not looking for a man but yet my pic is on.????
I thought when you sign on those are one of the first things you should be doing if you are looking for someone ,unless you have an agenda as in either being married or kicked off other sites as a no good person.????

RE: Im a soft old sausage really...

Hi Ian
Well done to you then,as he looks like a very nice young man and I am sure he would not make the mistakes his mother made. I can read in between the lines you are a very proud dad and so you should be.

RE: Im a soft old sausage really...

Hi Ian
I have great respect for parents bringing up their children in a very difficult time and especially in today times of young children going off the rails and having children themselves although themselves are children. I don’t believe any mother/father should ever try to airbrush a child’s father/mother from his life, even if he/she really has done something truly bad. Children have an absolute right to the best possible relationship with both parents.
In most cases, the father/mother of your children was a good enough Daddy/mommy while you were together. And if he/she was a good father/mother last week, before he told you he/she was having an affair, he’s not going to stop being a good father/mother next week.
Whatever problems a couple have, whatever the reasons for their fury, resentment and pain, the needs of their children simply have to come first. Their future — and, therefore, society’s future — depends on it.
It seems this very flexibility - what might seem like “lack of closeness” or “failure to blend” - is critical to step-parents and step-children of any age developing positive relationships in their own way, in their own time. The best way is to give your son time to work out his choices, and if what was said about the sleep=over and the choice of who your son chose to remain with after divorce,is also a matter he should sort out,as if he was at a young age I cant seem to understand that the court would have agreed to his decision. J.M.O. But good for you for raising your son.

RE: Human

Hello dear friend Timotie
This is my and only my way of looking at this subject.
The best response to this, and here I really don't think I'm guilty of overambitious optimism, is to identify and clarify what the point at issue really is, and to concertedly stay conscious of the fact that people are not their individual beliefs, and that it is alright to have been wrong about facts. If people can manage that, they can have disagreements without conflict. Or, they can achieve the same effect if they simply accept that conflict is not necessarily bad so long as it ends and has a reasonable expectation of getting somewhere.

But most people are not so high-minded. Much of the time, people simply want to bury the hatchet (which is perfectly well admirable, except that a disagreement is really a lot more like a land mine than a hatchet in that regard).Lots of Love

RE: 6th Sense

Hi D
Most species of shark have sensors on the sides of their heads, which the sharks use to detect tiny muscle movements from creatures nearby. This "sixth sense" is known as electro-reception and allows sharks to detect electromagnetic fields produced all animals.at is exactly as I said the animals can pick it up .

RE: 6th Sense

S.K.
As far as I know you were asking about 6th sense and precognition is
clairvoyance relating to an event or state not yet experienced????

RE: 6th Sense

Hi S.K
Sixth sense (psychic ability), is our ability to perceive the subtle-dimension or the unseen world of angels, ghosts, Heaven (Swarga), etc. It also includes our ability to understand the subtle cause and effect relationship behind many events, which is beyond the understanding of the intellect. Extrasensory perception (ESP), clairvoyance, premonition, intuition are synonymous with sixth sense or psychic ability.I for one have had many feeling if you want to call it sixth sense and it always panned out the way I was feeling
