Molly, I've played matchmaker several times over here....two couples actually did spend some time together but unfortunately couldn't take the relationship anymore further...
Heck! I even tried to matchmake Art with somebody else, thinking that the woman could do with some of his jokes! After much pleading, he gave in, reluctantly. It backfired. I soon realised my terrible mistake. He made me promised not to ever do it again!
P.S That incident was before his visit to Malaysia.
Yes, think Art and I will resort to fiancée visa once I get my divorce sorted out.
He has read up the requirements and think there shouldn't be any problem to get me over there as long as I have a clean criminal record.
For Art in case he's reading this:- Errrrrrrrr.....honey, I forgot to mention that I 'accidentally' hacked a love rival to death when I was in my early 20's. I swear it was an accident!
You have a good job in Vietnam, they should approve your US visa application whereas I'm unemployed, that didn't sit very well with them.
Anyway, hopefully one day I'll get to join him in Omaha and he'll get to take me to Walmart in the wee hours so that I could ogle at 'em crazy shoppers !!
Yes, still waiting to meet you in person. Who knows, I might just make a trip to Vietnam. Going for a wedding in Bangkok next month. Can't wait to go to Chatuchak again. That place is crazyyyyyyy!!!! Insanely crazy!
Believe it or not, Molly, my late maternal grandmother and her 2 other sisters attended a convent school taught by Irish nuns whereas her 3 brothers were educated by the Irish brothers.
Over the dinner table or when she and I were taking our afternoon naps, she'd relate about her schooldays and was forever grateful to the nuns who had dedicated their whole lives to the calling.
I used to say to him, "Gosh! I wish I have met you sooner!!"
But then again, things might not have worked out the way it is now. I believe, there's a time and place for everything. Our time ( Art and I ) is now......
RE: The good old days
Yup, shoot me too!
