Good Catches
I, and I'm sure some of you do too, view other members and think, 'Yeah, they would be a good catch'Don't get me wrong, not necessarily for myself, but for somebody.
There would be both men and women on here that I would think that about.
That they should not be single and hope that the right person sees what I see in them.
Of course, the natural 'matchmakers' see these things, and actively try to find a suitable partner for them
Me, nope. I just hope somebody sees what I see in them
Of course there are the 'others' too. The ones that you recoil in horror at when you see somebody nice being lured into their web.
But that's another blog

If I am not physically attracted to somebody, it simply won't happen.
It's dry here now, do I'm going to go out and enjoy it
I mean more though about people you actually get to know, not just random profiles.
Your cat family sounds like a feline Brady Bunch
Which also means I probably won't be coming here for a whole month so try not to miss me guys..
In other words he became attractive to you ?
So really you have one good meal a day . I am not saying it isnot hard, it is spiritually good for you.
Best of luck, and I hope you have a good Ramadan. Masalama.
With the cats, do what you have to do, I dont want to be the reason you euthenase several of them. But I have some crab pots you can borrow,
Its the time of the year to go bird watching...
Thanks so much for your wishes..
You're right... the food in Ramadhan is off the hook!! lol
But I generally restrain myself and try to stick with what I normally eat in the other 11 months..
Heck! I even tried to matchmake Art with somebody else, thinking that the woman could do with some of his jokes! After much pleading, he gave in, reluctantly. It backfired. I soon realised my terrible mistake. He made me promised not to ever do it again!
P.S That incident was before his visit to Malaysia.
Everyone has different characteristics and personality...but I believe a person has a perfect match somewhere, somehow...
Mimi, you are one of the people I thought of when I mentioned matchmakers
Yes, a wife-beater will find a woman with no self-confidence.
Yes, a bitter twisted woman will find a man who just doesn't want to be alone.
That is a connection
But that doesn't mean they are perfect for each other.
There are lots of mismatched unhappy couples out there.
I'm gone again for another while
yes, that's what I meant
I'm just surprised that all the people on this that are single don't make an effort in meeting..They can spend years in a LDR or even when they live a 2 hr drive not even try to have a coffee
Other thing that surprises me is seeing the people that are married or not single/not they get the action, why do they waste their time with someone that is already taken.. Are they really here to find someone or just have some entertainment.
I just meant, to get the best physically from it, and spiritually, it is better not to have a huge feast, ~As I have seen some people do.
I wish you well. I know that alms are given to the poor and there is so much good done during this time.
It is wonderful to see Mimi and Crazyheart and people like yourself who keep this wonderful tradition going.
My neighbour likes the side effect of losing weight as well, as the body gets used to the Ramadan once a day dinner, and seemingly eats up Fat, not muscle during the Ramadan period.
(I'm so good, I resisted a dancing banana )
You could miss out on a very loving , intelligent, witty, marvellous man who would love you forever..... and be your soulmate? But, if you have to have the looks, nomore to say.... Shallow !
The sky outside has been dark steel grey since 8am and I just went to front door, the smell of fresh ozone and the lushness of the green is beautiful, even if I cannot get out.
Ah you cannot beat Ireland.
Have you ever tried the 2 day a week fasting diet? there are undoubted health benefits (over and above weight loss)
I agree that the traditional cuisine and the binge style is totally unhealthy and I keep telling people to stop doing that but sadly its become the norm everywhere and people just can't seem to give it up..
Thanks again for your wishes..
I always gave up chocolate, sweets, T.V. and sugar in my tea which I never returned to, Ciggies etc.,
I have the book, the 2 days eat only 500 cals and the rest of the week eat what you like, I am reading it again for 2nd time, it does seem to work, but the 2 days on 500 Cals are miserable.
Paleo, no bread, No Sugar. No f--k--g life !!
I seem not to know who and what is a good catch anymore. People pretend well and sometimes those who we perceive to be bad are actually the good ones with a few scruples and flaws.
