Molly...i'm 20 mins outside fethiye...in a beautiful, working turkish village...with expats, living the dream.. I am on various FB sites....and they all love the lifestyle..
I have forests and mountains...slightly cooler temps...and the beach, bars etc...are not far off....
Dan....went last November to Fethiye...south turkey...just knew i had found exactly what i have been seeking... A down payment on a property has been paid...and the legal stuff should be sorted in 4 weeks....
I think we are getting there slowly....the big food processing companies are killing us...and the politicians are supporting them...because they are all intwined in the world of money....
Lindsy...i hope...with the power of social media... Things will improve....
My oldest Son....sat us all down last week....and showed us a film...that has millions of hits....about the seriousness of what we eat....and the damage we are doing to our bodies... Many things i already knew......but milk and eggs....processed cheese...are not good.... ...
We now have almond and soja drink as a substitute for full milk..... ...(don't think this is gonna last)....
I'll tell you what i believe....educate the kids....show them graffic films of drug destruction....show them exactly what they are putting in their stomachs...how hormones in meat/chemicals in processed foods is making them sick...and the next generation will make for a better future....
What makes someone aspire to be a President/Prime Minister... ..... They get ridiculed....despised....laughed at.....they are in the public eye, and camera lens 24/7....if they are not already corrupt...they will most certainely become so.....
Reminds me of one of my fav songs..."dance with my father again"Luther V.... Except i never did dance with him.....which was a godsend...cos i can't, for the life of me...dance....
