RE: Have You Ever...

Ok, I've never watched Entertainment Tonight is that on You Tube too?, but I think I get what you are saying.
Are these all American shows?

Do people actually believe what they are saying though?

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

Robbyreal,

Ha ha ha! maybe you are a sleeper.

Do you have a copy of 'Catcher in the Rye' ? rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

Just to add also.

I don't think I said anything about 'meddling with weather' only seismic activity.

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

Or should I say the evidence for Aum Shinrikyo being in Australia is true. Evidence of Tesla coils or other devices is circumstantial, although they did find evidence of Sarin and other toxins.

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

Robbyreal,

Yes the very same people!
It was widely reported on world news and I am sure you would be able to find evidence of this in places other than the internet.

RE: Random Question

Pastafarian that is a very valid point.

If I was a sentient being looking to interact with Earth I would wait until humans had wiped themselves out and the planet had started to recover from everything we have done to ourselves. laugh

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

I do hope people realise that HAARP SBX, is just a sea mounted radar station, not a weapon.

The video that you posted is from at least 2013 during its first sea trials and not recent.

RE: Random Question

The same way UFO just means Unidentified Flying Object.

The SR-71, U2, B2 and F117 where all described as UFO's until they were made public

RE: Random Question

The true meaning of 'alien' just means from another country or unfamiliar.

RE: Random Question

When you say 'alien life' do you mean sentient life?

RE: Random Question

Daniella,

I think the question was easy only because Track if there is life elsewhere, not sentient life.

The chance of there being bacteria somewhere else is highly probable, whereas finding sentient life somewhere else is a lot less likely.

People thought nothing lived at the bottom of the deepest oceans, until someone found thermal vents and a whole other eco system we didn't think possible was discovered.

RE: Random Question

If there are an infinite number of planets in the Universe. That would mean there is an infinite possibility of there being life somewhere else.

So, yes I believe there could be life elsewhere in the universe.

Could they reach our solar system?, now that's another question entirely.....laugh

RE: YOU make the photo caption (5) !

So your saying the other Otter ate half the biscuit..

Yeah! he was this big!

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

I think the problem in NK is more likely using the largest percentage of their National Budget on advancing their military and neglecting their own infrastructure and ability feed to themselves.

Similar to what happened in Zimbabwe when Mugabe got rid of all the farmers and everybody nearly starved.

P.S. The Tesla coils in the Australian desert was 1995 and the cult was Aum Shinrikyo.

RE: Is 'Weaponized Weather' Being Used In North Korea?

I remember a report in the 1990's, about some doomsday cult experimenting with Tesla coils in the Australian desert to create earthquakes.

It is possible that governments have developed weapons to do the same.

RE: how we are being dumbed down

One of my favourite quotes from ancient masters:

Confucius was walking through a forest with two students, when he asks 'If you could be one tree which tree would you be?'

One student replies 'I would be the tree that is tall and straight, that way I could be made in to lots of furniture'
The other student says 'I would also like to be the tall straight tree, I could then be a mast for a boat'

Confucius adds 'I would like to be the tree that is all bent and deformed'

'Why?' His students ask that is a good for nothing tree.

Confucius replies 'This good for nothing tree will live out its natural life and not be cut down in its prime'

Or something to that effect. I get called a good for nothing all the time, because I work a low paid job and do my own thing (I am of the opinion sufficient is enough). Whilst my friends all chose to be professional workers doing stressful, demanding jobs. They are mostly bald, grey and old before their time, whilst I think I look young for my age, am not stressed and still have natural coloured hair. Ha ha ha!

These old masters definitely knew a thing or two, just from observing nature. The western world is only just catching up.

RE: how we are being dumbed down

Richard Feynman also gave a lecture to C.I.T. in the sixties called 'Atoms in Motion' that you could probably find online somewhere.

RE: how we are being dumbed down

I think if I remember correctly, it was a book discussing Schrodingers theory and it is called quantum tunnelling.

RE: how we are being dumbed down

Johnny_Spartan,

Yeh I got a bit carried away with the dumbing down of society thing, its abit of a pet hate.

There is a school of thought that says that everything is vibration, and that if we vibrate or resonate at the same rate as say a wall we would be able to pass through it. I read it a long time ago, but will try and find out the title of the book.

A lot of Eastern Mysticism also says that the path to enlightenment starts with the cessation of ego, and realising everything is finite.

RE: Mathematical equation...

Oldblue,

Money is the new god and profit is its doctrine.

You say we should buy products from our own country.

You are from my neck of the woods I believe, now I will use cheese as my example. I cannot buy cheese made from where I live. Most cheese sold around here comes from Devon. When I lived in Devon most cheese came from Lancashire. The end result is more cost because of supporting the food miles this generates.

It is also well known that our supermarkets buy local produce and send them to central warehouses, to be redistributed to local stores. The end result more cost to the end user.

As I said in my opening statement 'Money' is now the true religion.

RE: how we are being dumbed down

Redex,

You only have to look at our own education system in the UK. They are so concerned with Education tables, that children are only taught enough to pass a test and make their school look better in the tables.

You go into a supermarket and smells are pumped out to make you to make you buy things (i.e. Bread).

These are just two examples, there are many more instances that hopefully other commenters will highlight.

RE: "THE ("RIGHT TO")... DILEMMA"

Thanks for the welcome Namaron.

I look forward to crossing keyboards with you in the future....

P.S. I did notice the submarine is pointing down, isn't that where all the detritus goes? wink

RIGHT TO REPLY

Hi Mimi,

Thanks for the help though, I am now looking for other cans to open...... hee hee!

RIGHT TO REPLY

Hi Cachuchi,

Yes I have visited the forums and the articles section, but I only have one keyboard and two hands.

I need help putting the lid back on this can of worms I reopened. Someone should have put a sign on it that said do not open under any circumstance.......laugh

RE: Disabled Comments Blogs

I still read the blogs even if I cannot comment on them, because I find them interesting. I just found it disappointing that I wouldn't be able to comment.
Counter blogs are an option, but if the OP doesn't want to comment then the end result is the same.

I do agree in peoples right to choose though.

It is my frustration to deal with not theirs.

RE: "THE ("RIGHT TO")... DILEMMA"

I'm glad we cleared that up.

I have read a few of your blogs and find them interesting.

I have found though because of your writing style, I have begun to read them in the style of the Drill Sergeant from Full Metal Jacket. (I hope this was your intention as I am not trying to mock you).

I come in peace. laugh

RE: "THE ("RIGHT TO")... DILEMMA"

I don't know if it was my blog you were referring to, but in my first line I say that I am new here and just asked the question. Like you said you have been here for FOUR years.

If you read any of the comments that were posted you would see my question was answered in full and with interest, but thanks for your input.

RE: Would you rather...

Amen to that Robbie, maybe not all though laugh

RIGHT TO REPLY

Hi Conrad,

Thanks for your comment. Someone did say earlier on in the comments.

Who knew an anonymous button could cause such trouble?

Sometimes you just want to bang the table and discuss it with the OP though which was my original point. We did get a bit side tracked though as I am new and had to forego some kind of initiation. ha ha ha! laugh

RE: Would you rather...

Oldblue,

That just made me laugh out loud. It is as good as the hands free kit, with the man and the elastic band around his head.
