Stephen Hahn, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, told the Today show that a decision on whether to take the drug should be made between a doctor and a patient. He also said the FDA does not regulate the practice of medicine.
What the FDA has said on record recently is that "Hydroxychloroquine has no proven benefit for the treatment of Covid-19."
