Har - Not being familiar with these types of things I imagine the programme requires quite a bit of understanding, study and experimentation to generate the simplest of animation - for some of us the joy is in the learning. Caitlin - I think it's possible they feel marginalised due to their lack of intellect so when an equally stupid individual gains some sort of status or prominence, they cling to and blindly support the person through trying to share the experience in some weird vicarious way.
There's also a condition called wilful blindness where people keep themselves unaware of facts that would render their position invalid or useless - many here sadly have adopted this state.
