25 to 36 sounds fair but do remember that there is always the exception to the rule.

I say once the person is an adult and is mature and communicates with you on a level that you are happy with don't close the door even if there is a significant age difference.

There have been a few cases of such situations that actually worked be careful though. My father took on a young bride. She was 26 and he was in his 50's. Their marriage lasted for more than 12 years... There is another couple who have a 16 year age difference and they have been married for 40 years, the other party just died...who knows how things will go? just be aware of the challenges.

The truth is I prefer to stay within my age range but I am trying to keep an open mind.

Yes Josh, the internet is just another source of meeting persons. From what I have read here, though not too many, it does seem that a few persons have been lucky to find someone special. You have to be careful, you have to be patient and you have to be diligent, it could very well happen to you.

missm09 that is a serious concern, the dishonest people here. But don't give up, don't be scared just take things slow. I find that time usually reveals most things. In all fairness, if I don't feel a connection early, it does not usually change, so I usually say what I think but I do it nicely. Afterall, you just want to say 'no'. You don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Yeah, yeah sure people need to read over their blogs but you know what? Some people can't spell well and so on and so on and so on. Some are technologically challenged. The focus should not be their grammar or spelling. This is an avenue for persons to express themselves, share. I focus on what they have to say and sometimes regardless of the spelling and grammatical errors, there are beneficial points. If the errors cloud the message then that would be an issue. Let us not make a federal issue out of this
