Why is it that women are online, but turn off ther

Exactly, Why is it that women are online, but tease men by turning off their IM, Answer that, PLEASE !!!!!!!!

I have not got mine turned off but find its usually 20+ boys from places like the Yeman who start off with "beautiful lady I love you"!!!! LOL

I also have alot of IM's coming from india etc basically also starting off with " you are my princess" etc. its very distracting. I personally will answer IM if i have only been chatting to someone for a while. I dont like strangers just trying their luck.

Here is another IM example:

Man(very young): Hi
Lady: Hi
Man: How are you today?
Lady: Fine, thanks and how are you?
Man: Sad
Lady: Why?
Man: Because I want you
Lady: ?
(then turned off her IM)

This guy sent me an angry email calling me a tease because my IM was turned off. I have never spoken to him before in my life.

The male ego is a fragile thing. An ego can be hurt faster than our feelings can be hurt by them.

Women do not have to depend on them for happiness and we can live without them. For many it is like a mother complex where they need a woman to look after them. professor

Isn't it an oxymoron to say you do not like strangers taking chances on you when you are online? Honestly if you feel that way then you do not belong online.

People screen their IM the same reason they do telephone calls. If you want to pick it up and talk to everyone who dials, that is your perogative. ;)

OMG!!! You just left me the nastiest e-mail because I had my IM off. Please read the responses to your own blog before biting peoples heads off. We all have our own...very valid reasons. Thank god I had it off, I wouldn't want to talk to you if you can't respect my choices.

I will answer that question.

There are 2 reasons I tunred my IM off.

The first reason is that men form around the world(some who claim to be from USA) contact women thru IM and it is a senseless waste of time.
That however, can be remedied by blocking the individuals.

The most important reason I turned min off is because everytime I got IM'd i got a ton of virsuses attached and had to reboot and clean my pc.
Nothing is worth the time and trouble of dealiong with the junk attached to whatever is out there waitng on this site.
