I like "I was born in the wagon of a travelling show, my mama used to dance for the money they'd throw, papa would do whatever he could.." no wait.. thats not country...uhhh... ummm... never mind..
I was just listening to that song last night Virgo and for the same reason, i just couldnt get it out of my head... the song thats annoying me now is off a tv commercial..
Our Government does not "Give" refugees a job, they assist in helping a refugee find a job and in the advent of the refugee not being successful will provide a benefit until they do find a job. They will provide all the other items such as accommodation, clothing and food via the social services dept.
The Christchurch rebuild is going very slowly, the only reason why there isnt a building boom down there at the moment is because the govt and the insurance companies are still going through claims and area rezoning, once these issues have been resolved then we will see a building boom.
Our current unemployment rate is the highest since 1999 and New Zealand is quite an expensive country to live in, true, its beautiful and the people are friendly, but the cost of living is not reflected in peoples salaries which is why so many are leaving for Australia.
I have no qualms about people wanting to move here from other countries but they need to be aware of the realities of living here, things are real tough and as nice as Creative and Elmo are, i seriously doubt they will qualify for refugee status.
Work, even on Christmas day and night, i dont mind though because its a big job, the contract is an important one and is done every year at the same time.
And no, its not Santa's job...
If i didnt have this contract then i would be back volunteering my services as a helper at the annual City Mission Christmas dinner which is set up for those on low incomes, the street community and new migrants and foreign students.
I have find that its an excellent way to spend Christmas, helping feed multitudes of people who need it and giving out presents to those who would otherwise go without, and the smiles and laughter on peoples faces (esp kids when they get toys) makes it worthwhile.
Hiya Ash There is nothing wrong with enjoying your lifestyle the way it is at the moment, but being self employed myself I know it is important to engage in a social activity as it does give you time away from your normal daily routine.
It doesnt have to be every week but try to at least do something once a fortnight.
The benefits i found from doing social activities ranged from creating new business through networking, strengthening current business relationships and the time away even helped me recharge the batteries.
So it is important to take a break away from your normal routine, doing something different will benefit you in the long run otherwise you can get into a rut, get bored with what you're doing and start to stress out unnecessarily.
You can keep on her about the risks of taking these pills in the hope that she will give them up but if she's determined enough then theres not alot you can do.... good luck..
PhenObestin 37.5 is NOT recommended for people over the age of 40. Phenylethylamine HCL which is the active ingredient in PhenObestin 37.5 causes higher heart rates, and it can cause heart arrhythmias and may lead to heart failure.
Donald Trump is like a spoilt child, if things dont go his way he throws all his toys out of the sandpit and refuses to play with anyone until he gets his way.
What he should do is throw that thing on his head out of the sandpit and just deal with being bald...
Im with Angel on this one, inherited problems from the previous governments has meant that the first part of Obamas tenure has been to start the road to recovery.
Obamas re-election means this work can continue and while its true that his policies have not been popular and I would go as far as to suggest that some could of been handled differently, the end goal is not to line the pockets of his cronies but to set the country up to pull itself out of the mire that it finds itself in.
I have to say that I admire a person that heralds in unpopular policies and has a vision that the future of his country will be brighter because of it and the benefactors will be the children and grandchildren of everybody in the U.S.
Here in New Zealand we have the "Student Army" which was a group of students mostly in Christchurch that mobilized right after the earthquakes that hit in that region.
The student army numbers reached 10,000 at one point as there were student army volunteers from different universities from all over the country descending on Christchurch to help out at their own expense.
Many students spent weeks upon weeks shoveling silt (a by product of earthquakes) while others were checking on the welfare of the elderly and infirm and assisting where they could. Where ever there were people needed to do a job the student army was there.
I am proud to see young people taking the initiative and mobilizing in this manner, its fantastic!
