Talk about being persecuted constantly. Who feels
Talk about being persecuted. Have to leave the country and find work just to try get a foreign bank account. This is when you say, yes Im persecuted defintely at every angle.
To now have to leave your comfort home office, to go do hard time labouring again, just so you can get a bank account.
then to get a policeman knock on your door, and say get into the van. "now"! Takes you to the police station for questioning, to find out where you met this girl that was staying at your house, just because you are both different c.......s
then asks a personal question, like, is that your house and you say, I dont need to answer that, Then, he gets all aggressive, and says, oh, so you dont want to answer, OK, let me show you what we do to people who dont answer.

(A refugee is a person who is outside his/her country of origin or habitual residence because he/she has suffered persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or because he/she is a member of a persecuted 'social group'. Such a person may be referred to as an 'asylum seeker' until recognized by the state where he or she makes his or her claim.)
On top of this they will give you a house, clothing and a job. How cool is that...
Now look around your enviroment and tell me how many true NZ'ers do you see....we have every breed of the world here, even the humble 'asylum seeker'. Our goverment believe it or not does in fact supply the job for these people and if no job is avaiable, they will supply them with a benefit (mise well call it free money), to help out in the mean time....its part of the human rights acts. Have a read about it oneday, its quite interesting.
Also these people who run for there lives (and I mean lives), come here and see ample opportunities and work very hard (harder than us). I think we take alot for granted in this country, maybe some of us should move over their and experince the lifes they left, I'm sure we would be crying home to mommy within a week.
Just about another blog there, DjWabbet..
Our Government does not "Give" refugees a job, they assist in helping a refugee find a job and in the advent of the refugee not being successful will provide a benefit until they do find a job.
They will provide all the other items such as accommodation, clothing and food via the social services dept.
The Christchurch rebuild is going very slowly, the only reason why there isnt a building boom down there at the moment is because the govt and the insurance companies are still going through claims and area rezoning, once these issues have been resolved then we will see a building boom.
Our current unemployment rate is the highest since 1999 and New Zealand is quite an expensive country to live in, true, its beautiful and the people are friendly, but the cost of living is not reflected in peoples salaries which is why so many are leaving for Australia.
I have no qualms about people wanting to move here from other countries but they need to be aware of the realities of living here, things are real tough and as nice as Creative and Elmo are, i seriously doubt they will qualify for refugee status.
But where do u find warriors in these days? KwaZulu-Natal? Maoris?
NZ has enough sheep to feed a whole bunch of asylum seekers, but the land and good jobs r divided up.
My friend, let the people who wish to come here, decide for themself, a little research goes a long way....Good luck refugees, hoiliday makers and all...and welcome to NZ...
Psst, you can also.. marry into our country, much faster way...
