Labor day is not all over the world at the same time. Here in the US, it always falls on the first Monday in September. This year it happens to be September first.
It is a mix of three drugs. Sodium pentathol being one of them, but the drug that is used to sedate them is a benzodiazepine which is a tranquilizer. They are not under full anesthetic as one would be in major surgery. Another interesting fact is that most inmates when asked what they want as their last meal, ask for raw onions, and lots of them.
Whether you are american born or not doesn't mean anything. Just like most people of African descent that live in America are not born here.....hence the name African American. But your not of African descent having parents from Guyana, so you are correct in claiming not to be African American being that Guyana is not in Africa. Its just like when people say I am from Italy, rather than saying "I am European"......it is better to be specific about where you come from rather generalizing. It think in your case it is naturally easy for people to misidentify you being that your in New York and the majority of people with skin color in New York are in fact of African descent.

As some have stated. Life in prison is no picnic....I would rather be executed than spend the rest of my life in prison.
