I will only add that Christ gives many chances for trees that have produced nothing but bad fruit, or for that matter, no fruit at all, to finally produce good fruit even in the most extreme circumstances. He often grafts good branches into said unfruitful trees in a loving last ditch effort to heal a tree that all saw as worthy of nothing, save it be fire. He is the Master of grafting.
