Kasih, its a vicious circle... U dont treat it as a game and live love, the other person may play it as a game and eventually hurt you, some times...the moment we realise that someone played it with us, we start being very apprehensive to actually get involved again ... and always keep doubting and never get over it;
and other times,,, we start playing it as a game ourselves...
Integrity, thanks for such a good and thought provoking post... I just love my folks back home, and i dont miss a chance to say this to them, Earlier i used to take them for granted and realised my fault soon. now, I just value them more then anyone in mylife, they are the once who are with us thru our ups and down, always instill and mould us to be better human beings...
I sometimes feel that its next to impossible to be as selfless as they are !!!

Quite a wish list you have there Mam, ....After 60 years, when we say that we want someone with so and so attirbutes and qualities [eventually i read it as a English prof who has access to the Queens money ] it also idicates that what we could not get in these years may not be possible to get in the remaining years of our life... no harm trying thou; but like the earlier frnd mentioned a guy would have his hands full if he had money and such qualities...
I somhow feel its a turn off for either genders when they come across some one who comes across as a goldigger... without the money part, i guess u would do fairly good; if not better....
regardless, I do appreciate your frankness in being open and stating what u r lookin for
