Mr R !! You may be keen to make a round peg fit a square hole, so to speak, but as one who oscillates between being Rambo and Agony Aunt, the description 'down to earth' is a stretch !!

I think that, and in my profile, down to earth means living a simpler life, not so wrapped up in material things, likes nature more than the city, that kind of thing. Hope that helps.

i also prefer describing myself as down to earth coz i like to think that i am realistic and got my feet planted on the ground.

anyway, i think young and down-to-earth don't go together. if they ever do in a guy especially, then i'm gonna petition for his protection as an endangered and extinct species!!!

Well I guess we all live in more than one category. For most of us we are sometimes practical and sometimes creative, sometimes “bubbly” and sometimes quiet. I don’t think the money really matters a great deal, for one thing if someone only wanted you for money then they are definitely not worth having. But in any case most people have the capacity for making money, they just either don’t realize it or don’t know how to go about it. In terms of decisions life is a game of poker, but its also a game of chess. When people play it they look at the moves they are able to make, when they should really be visualizing those they would like to be able to make.
