In Ontario, Canada, where I live smoking is banned or forbidden in all public places, bars, restaurants, hospitals, clinics, buses, trains, schools, banks, public libraries, 10 metres away from some buildings, etc., etc. One is not allowed to smoke in my apartment building. Since it gets very cold here in the winter and winters here last long, where is one going to smoke when one goes out in the winter??? Sure one can smoke in the open streets but is one going to stand outside and smoke in the freezing weather??? One reason why most people in Ontario no longer smoke. Cigarettes are also taxed very high. I don't know about other provinces in Canada.
thanks, ken. I am a raw vegan and I love it. I am not a vegan to save animals but for my own health benefit. I am very healthy, no chloresterol issues, no headaches. I don't even catch colds and I have a very nice and smooth skin.
Thanks Huitz, I love cheesecake. You are welcome here any day. Under NAFTA (TRUMP criticizes NAFTA) those of us from North America (Canada, US, Mexico) can intermingle easily. We will welcome you here with true maple syrup, French fries and poutine.
I think Trump is saying things some people want to hear.
can someone answer this for me, please how many of the recent MASS MURDERS in the US were committed by Mexican immigrants, let alone illegals? zero I think, no? tku
EVERYONE???????????????? where do you get that from? I am NOT LOOKING, and never said anywhere that I am looking. I come here to kill time when I work from home and have some spare time in between projects.
@Ed, I agree with you. Two years ago I lent my neighbour 20 dollars, he never paid me back so for me I will never again lend him money, not even a dime.
Well guys did you know that even General Wesley Clark is here on CS??? Americans might know who he is. The General viewed me one time, so I wrote to him and said "Hey General, what are you doing here on CS? does your wife know you are here checking out women?" I didn't get back a reply and he disappeared fast. Obviously someone with a fake profile here is using the General's photo. Even though I am Canadian and live in Canada now, I know the US quite well and most dignitaries there. I lived there a long time. Oh well .....
zeurich, place all the coffee cups and glasses you found in the garage back in the kitchen sink and ask her where they come from ...
don't pay her next month let her go find someone new and keep a hidden camera in the house
my housekeeper hid my house clock and I don't wear a watch, so I wouldn't know what time she left I got rid of her fast when I found out I relied on the clock for time and she knew
So true all you say about Canada. I have lived and worked in 5 countries worldwide including the US so I can tell the difference. I have friends, family, former colleagues in the US so I follow what goes on there. I returned to Canada from the US just a few years ago.
No, today is not Labour Day here in Canada. We don't celebrate May Day here in Canada. Labour day here in Canada is on the first Monday in September, one of a few public holidays we share with the US. I know of May Day because I used to live in France.
Like me, I believe in God. I have a personal relationship with God. When I pray I talk to God directly. I don't read the BIBLE or follow any doctrine from organized religion. I was born and raised Catholic but I parted ways with the Catholic church long time ago.
I don't think this has anything to do with the fact that you are of different races. why even mention it? There could be any number of reasons. But why do you call this guy a FRIEND?? Someone who does not answer your phone calls cannot not be a friend. Does he call you himself sometimes? what does he want from you? what is your relationship with him like? you need to find out why he is not answering your calls.
apply to companies for jobs that you qualify for. let them reject you but keep applying. keep the rejection letters show them to the immigration officer when you attend the interview, it shows that you are serious about coming to Canada to work. this tip was given to me by an immigration lawyer when I applied to immigrate to Canada
things may have changed since i immigrated to Canada 12 years ago
at the time you didn't need a job offer under the points system which is what I used. my profession, education, work experience are what counted. you will have to show proof of work experience and your profession must be included in the list of wanted professions in Canada
