prima, once I used sunblock on certain parts as i said before but didnt make a nice transition between protected and unportected parts, it didn't look nice, i can tell you

I don't use any special brand, I have olive skin myself and I am not easily burnt in most parts, some parts of my body are more sensitive. Early on when I am still white I use 40+ protection for babies, then I low it till 9 or more. I know a swede who was in the sun in south africa for a week without sunblock and haven't burnt himself. so this is different for different people, you have to know your own skin.

good thing with internet friends that you may have a company any time, even at night, because it's different time in their country, you never feel lonely.

blue, nothern people enjoy sun more because it's rare, you have it all the time.
blond people like to get a little colour because they are pale otherwise, southern people have dark hair and dark eyes, they look colourful even with white skin.

Primavera, I use the highest factor sunscreen, I love sea and sun. I also noticed than people living in warmer coutries avoid sun rather than enjoy it. My sister lives in Ukraine, she is never sunbathing, always white.

I think northern people suffer the most because they are not used to sun. I read that the cases of skin cancer have grown much more because people from north can travel to warm countries and they are genetically not made to tolerate much sun. I personally saw horrible things in carribean, it was easy to burn there because it wasn't hot, you don't feel anything, but the sun is much stronger there.

thank you Firas, I also hide because I really don't want to be contacted by anyone, I am not looking for anything more than fun on blogs and forums sometimes. It doesn't help at all if I write my profile that I am not looking, I get contacted anyway,and this it a well known fenomenon on CS, I read threads about it many times. I have no energy to answer nicely for everyone. Even now I write in my profile that "I DON'T speak English" but got contacted anyway, in English!!!

Primavera, I am reading a book in Italian now, "Giro di vento". Rich and successful people decided to buy a house deep in a country side. They drive until all houses are gone, the road finished and navigator shows into the forest. the car is broken, no mobile connection and they found that the houses they were going to buy are in the deep forest occupied by "wild" people with no connection to civilization at all, living the old way, no running water, no tv, no toilet paper, nothing.
