Ed1941, yes, there is another reason. My son is grown and I rarely see him again and when I see him, it's not the same. He is a man. I miss that soft little kid that I could cuddle, he doens't exist any more. I dream often of him and he is always a small boy in my dreams. Also my mother, she died for some years ago, I miss her too. It's all all right in the day time, but when it's getting dark it all comes back in my dreams. Aslo 2 of my cats have died, I miss them too. I often think if I only could rewind 15 years back in my life, and be there at least for a few minutes when we all were together and happy. I didn't even appreciate it then.

the beauty to me in the unknown, total adventure, very unpredictable and it finished good this time while it could finish bad, that’s why there is extra satisfaction in it.
the same I can say about dating on this site, I bet a lot of people never meet because they are overcautious on the edge to be paranoid about everything. Why don't give yourself an adventure and accept the possible risk and then be happy when it all finished good.

morgenulv, yes I know people on CS wouldn't like it because most of them are extremely cautious. this is more for really adventurous people, those who get the kick of the adventure with a spice of danger, a little bit of bungy jump in a way, it may be dangerous and finish bad but the experience would beat it all

right, listening music is JOB to me. I never have music or TV as background as some people may have, like talk and listen to music. I may listen to music obsessively but on my own, totally alone. Music also makes me very tired.

Ariel, yes I recognize that. I am sociable too, I love people, but only for short moments when they speak to me and pay attention to me. I may enjoy though sit and watch people when they don't care about me. Even with those who I am very comfortable with I may talk a while, like when I meet my ex, he is my family, we have a very good relationship but after meeting him I sleep all evening and all next day, I just switch off, and then fully recovered about after 3 days, the same about all my dates. I have had dates abroad and I didn’t switch off, probably because I was nervous, so adrenalin helped. I have had 2 long living together relationships in my life and it also worked good but alone is better. When my son is grown I don’t see any reason why I would have to live with anyone. About touching, Aspergers people may be annoyed/disturbed by strong sounds and smells. Touching doesn’t bother me with my lover(it’s wasn’t so good with my parents and women). But I hate noisy places, like bars and night clubs, also the smells of perfume and smoke.

I can read, write and speak on different levels in 8 languages. Speaking is the weakest part because that needs practise in real life. When I write I may check words and verb forms (which is hell in latin languages), English and Swedish are so easy compared to those.
I have Aspergers, this may explain a lot, a lot of people with it have a higher intelligence than usual but lack in communication with people. I may appear to be normal but people make me tired, it takes more effort to me to process social information. that's why I want to live alone and only meet people sometimes and avoid groups, it's just too much for me.

Frankinstien, good idea, I am personally not into any kind of groups though, I like meeting one to one and all his attention to me. I can't travel in winters as long as my cat still alive. I don't know how old he is, he is a former stray. In summer I can let the door stay open and let him run outside and let someone to feed him, but in winter he would be too bored and depressed to be alone all the time.
but I will keep your suggestion in mind for some time in the future when he is gone, hopefully i will still be around then. you are welcome to sweden, unfortunately it's not as nice and warm as Puerto Rico but some people may find it exotic.

right, also my perfect holiday is when only 2 people involved, no friends and family. You may see it as a long date, you don't take your freinds or family to date. you give a quality time to each other, totally focused on knowing each other during the activities you enjoy. and then if it turned out that you didn't like each other that much, at least you had a lot of fun.

I have seen how it is done in sweden, he led the bull out of pasture to the track, took a special nail pistol and shot directly in the bull's brain. the bull died immediately, he knew nothing, no drama at all, very quickly and merciful no slaughter house at all, they deliver meet, they don't transport living animals to die at some horrible place in a horrible way.

you need to work a whole year just to pay the tickets?
you can either find someone in your home country or fly in europe with Ryanair under 100 euro, do you have to work a year for that? I personally only have dates in the countries I want to visit anyway so it doesn't matter at all if the date itself will be successful. And finding love needs time and effort for everyone, even for movies stars and rich people. But you choose your date's distanse within the size of your wallet.

I think your girls like when you give them things or money, they are using you, it's not you being kind. I think you should put a clear rule, you give them your kindness and understanding but NOT your money and things it's so painful to read how they use you all the time.

That’s right, we all are here on a mission, to find out who we are and be it. All people are different and may have different values, you can’t please everyone, the only important thing is to please yourself and live according to your own values. We may make mistakes but the most important thing is that we forgive ourselves and move on.

Southwesternman, don't scare her too much, this happened to me too before, also to other people, that only means that they got into her msn account, nothing more. I reported it to MSN and they have now better routine against this stuff but you have to change your options inside the account for more security. I don't know how people in other countries do their on line banking, here in Sweden we have changing password several times during a banking session that you type in a special box, it has no connection whatsoever with any email account, the same with buying things on line, there is either direct connection from the shop to bank or you use e-card, that you make every time new on that amoung you want to buy something. those must be very bad security banks if have connection with any of people's emails.I don't even know if such exist.

I LOVE to walk at nights. because there no people, I can walk in peace. No dogs are barking here, there are no stray dogs in Sweden. there are scary moments sometimes, when you hear some animal in the forest killed, it's not scary for me but for them. I was only once seriously scared when I took a wrong turn and was lost, and it was pitch dark, I was scared if there is a wolf or bear and I don't see them, though they normally run away when they hear people. I love the feeling of being slightly scared though, I took a lot of my boyfriends to a cemetery at night when I was young. Russian cemeteries are better, more romantic and scary, swedish are too tudy.I went here for several years to cemetery at midnight hoping to see a ghost but no such luck
