Billy it's true Ireland is close, but it is still a flight away and not a driveable. I've already emigrated once and so not unreasonable to do it again, but I like all the romantic tactile mushy stuff and you don't get that with the distance thing!
I've only gotten into drinking beer this year, I always though it ws bloody awful. But boy oh boy at the end of the day in this weather nothing nicer than an ice cold beer!

yes I was ready to move to Ireland for the right man, sadly he just couldn't get over the loss of his wife so we're just friends now.
However distance dating ain't easy and I'm trying to find someone who at least lives in Spain now! So if anyone messages me from another country and they seem rather keen I tend to tell them the truth from the off!

I used to work for Ford and I went on a course with a very motivational course. first of all he said if you wake up and say oh no it's gonna be one of "those" days then you won't be disappointed! Then he made us recall one of the happiet days of our lives and to really fel that you are back there. He said when you feel down to recall that happy place so you can get straight back to that happy mood. Finaly he made us break a plank of wood with our bare hands, it was about breaking through barriers and being able to see through to the othr side and believe anything is possible ... it was truly a turning point in my life! Also someone said to me recently people can only upset you if you give them your permission... so i don't let anyone pee on my parade anymore! Positive thinking works for me that's for sure, life doesn't get any better!
I don't even look at that part of their profile to be honest as it's just not important to me as I'm totally self sufficient... just their age and even then some men have been known to be a little economical on the truth! No point in lying it will soon catch up with them ... then the trust is gone and so are they and it's just a waste of everyone's time!

ten years ago I made a life changing decision to do a job I actually enjoy. I went from a huge salary to the minimum wage which at the time was £3.70 an hour. In fact I used to pay more in tax than I took home in my first pay packet. I'm still in that job 10 years later as I truly love it(but now my own boss), and have emigrated too.
Life is really what you make it, don't dream it, live it! Don't get me wrong life has been tough at times and I've been through the mill financially in this recession. It's just served to make me a stronger person
All i can say is money doesn't bring you happiness, it just gives you greater choices. People and things can't make you happy and fulfilled only you can... happiness comes from within! ooh get me the philosopher!
Aw poor you, mine are all grown up now and it's really only since then that I've actively gotten into the dating scene again, but that was my choice. I think you should tell your children the truth, put it in a very tactful way, but children tend to be able to handle it better than adults and shrug it off and move on. They don't need to know the details, just that he wasn't the kind man you thought he was and he's decided to go with another woman and that doesn't make you happy and you'd rather none of you had anything to do with him now. aw Daniel don't be so hard on yourself, and always consider yourself the greatest catch. Seriously, if you don't believe it then no one else will either.
However that said in the early stages of communication it's probably best to just pass the niceties of the day etc. Once you get to know someone better then open up more, but always keep it positive. It may just be your openness it too much to start with?
You and your children sound like you'e been through a lot, at least they are lucky to have a great dad.
I wish I'd found a better father for my children, but then the paradox is if I hadn't married him then I wouldn't have enjoyed the two most beautiful daughters a parent could wish for!! He lost out way more than we did!
Other than that I have absolutely no regrets at all, just experiences that make me the woman I am today, and I like me!!!!
