is their any honesty left?

Ok ive been on here for a wile now I know that I am not the best catch in the world but i'm not the worst either I've gotten a few messages from some nice women but then I send a reply to them being very honest open and true they never respond whats up with that? Oh i get it a man with children is not what these women want I guess but wouldn't you think that it would show a man that has taken the responsibility of his children and not left them to suffer in the hands of a psyco would show that he has compassion love and the patience to make just about anything work. well i guess mu words arent all that elegant but this in how i feel. Yet I keep searching for that rite one she may never show herself to me, I keep the faith that one will take the chance with an average guy with an above average heart..... My thoughts Daniel Gauthier lonely here in maine.

You hang in there Daniel...it will happen for you...a single parent with kids living-in full time (am in that club too) is pretty daunting to say the least. Rule of thumb is that the kids will get priority over anyone or anything else - that does not go down easy for many.
At the moment I am happy just chatting and exchanging mails coz my hands are full shooing away the little punks sniffing around my girls - they are 15 & 16. Maybe it might work for you too..cheers!!

aw Daniel don't be so hard on yourself, and always consider yourself the greatest catch. Seriously, if you don't believe it then no one else will either.

However that said in the early stages of communication it's probably best to just pass the niceties of the day etc. Once you get to know someone better then open up more, but always keep it positive. It may just be your openness it too much to start with?

You and your children sound like you'e been through a lot, at least they are lucky to have a great dad.

Hey Daniel I feel your pain I have three kids that i raise on my own I just joined the internet dating thing cause i have no time for going out and meeting people. That being said i can't just sit on the computer all day long replying to every email taking it slow i tell them how it is strait up no time to waste on useless chit chat there will be plenty of time for that if we are ment to spend the rest of our lives together right? So keep your head up I am proof that there are women out there that will appricate that you don't want to waste thier time or yours!! Good Luck with your search!!
