Tomorrows flag protest in Belfast

Hands up who thinks the reason given for the protest is because it is the closest Saturday to the first anniversary of the dispute.

Now hands up who thinks the reason give is police brutality against loyalist, breach of human rights and continuing police harrasment of loyalists. And the flag wasn't mentioned to the Parades Commission when the organisers made their case?

Gerry is clinging to party politics to simply save his butt. Somethings are actually bigger than politics.

Adams knew from day 1 his nieice was being abused by her brother. Liam Adams instead of recieving a bullet in the head or at least a knee capping, ended up with little more than a flesh wound because of vile crime & breach of trust. Gerry had that much control he talked the whole episode down and as I say Liam ended up with a simple flesh wound.

The big problem for SF today is when Gerry finally leaves the stage the next president will be from the 26c's. That in real terms means there could very well be a split within SF. And if independant republicans (snowy lumps them together and calls them dissidents) play their cards right, they (SF) run a risk of losing votes in the o6c..

Kenny, I'm not arguing the importance of keeping the lights on. I'm saying how both yourself and sofar (if allowed) would remedy the situ. simply add fuel to the fire and in-flame it a lot more.

You talk about about everyone having a fair deal etc. But the minute anyone wants to protect what they think is a fair deal, you always want to beat them with big sticks, use the threat of violence (the same charges you level at me in regards to the o6c).

You often talk about having a fair 'moral/social compass'. What direction will your moral/social compass point when you read of a kid not having food to eat, a mother not being able to stretch her buget until next payday all because you dragged their father/partener through a court for 25years and all his/her saving etc were used up?

Going along with your line of thought, thats one of the out comes. Wether you care to admit or not. You basically have no problems in letting children fall into the poverty trap by your actions. And what did they do to inflame you sofar, be the child of a striking tade unionist? Guilty by association then?????
