Have been thinking of Zumba you never know a little way down the track I may look into either Zumba or dancing. I know the walking and diet are working on the weight at least.
Ahh shell Well its catch 22 for me Walk I do good . Walk and end up like tonight having great difficulty straightening my knee .three knee clean outs last one was supposed to be a replacement.Never ever going under the knife for my knee ever again. Ortho specialist didnt want me doing manual labor but no clue on what I should do except office work no skills no way .
I could swim but you can only access the local pool late at night.I hate swimming thats what I did for years as a kid .
But never fear I bought an mp3 player today to take on my walk tomorrow!! I have to be able to walk as thats what I do for 8 hours a day walk bend lift carry push!!
Yep walking is good and bad for me as is my manual labor job(not rod building ) Walking is a great way to lose weight I just need to watch my knees .But I'll be ok
Melty part of what you have written is what my dietician told me. She almost had a heart attack when I mentioned Sausages and I was told no to Fritz . Meat from what I was told only a tiny tiny tiny tiny portion (thats a problem for me).She also said no way to chops . I'm a wee bit of problem for the dietician my work day eating habits.Breakfast at 5.30 Morning tea at 9.30 lunch at 12noon dinner anywhere from 5 to 7 . Breakfast to lunch no worries Then I tend to over do dinner funny thing is eat very little during the day I'm fine come dinner time umm I seem to over do !! But lately the biggest problem has been dehydration ended up in hospital on a drip for not drinking enough silly me. But I'm managing it
Ok how many of us have Diabetes ? No I'm not wearing it as a badge of honor.I am so petrified to eat in case my Blood sugar levels go up .Haven't had them go low of course when I fast they go up !!! So anyone else suffer from this ? How are you coping ?
Me I get confused all these health professionals telling u different things.
ahh such is life so while on leave and coming to terms with my now singleness.I have been walking 45 to 60minutes a day once again .Didn't help this am my sugar went up after the walk !!!!
so I got all the above and most nights get lots of sleep .Of course it tends to be broken sleep .Especially when I had undiagnosed type 2 oh my god .Waking up covered in sweat and have a cold breeze hitting u threw the window .Scary stuff indeed.
Rusty keep looking .please never settle for a guy who would do that to you again !!!I understand from reading stuff that people who are in relationships like yours keep getting into the same types of relationships . Please keep looking Mr right is out there somewhere
Well said Shell225 From my point of view (or what happened to me ) would have been nice if my wife told me she was changing(or I could have seen it) .We could have sat down and talked about it .and then gone our different paths. Instead of one of us growing and moving on (not me of course).And the other person (me) just continuing on with the lifestyle u know get up go to work come home get up go to work etc etc .Boring Mr Reliable you can set your watch by me !!!
And talking of Defacto's I knew of 1 couple been living together for 40 or more years got married and that ended the relationship !! Go figure .
Misty1773 I have no idea why anyone male or female does this .In my own case I didn't really know what was going on . But looking back there were signs that I didn't see or want to see. Its harder the longer you have been together . Its even harder(take note people)when they say its not your fault its theirs. Actually I'm turned off marriage never ever again !!!
Hi people I'm a newbie to this site .Just joined up . Was married for over 20yrs .Wife went a wee bit strange then started staying out most nights.then got a job(after years of me asking if she wanted to work no she didn't)and didn't come home when I was home !! She only came home as a member of my family told her to get home and talk to me.As I'd been in hospital and then been sick in bed for 5 days.What a great way to find out its over !!! Well almost trying to work out the financial side .in other words I worked never had access to my money (my fault)and her saying she doesn't want our falling down house !!! So at the end of the very short visit it wasn't my fault our marriage ended .I do have a fair idea why as she is "sharing " a unit with another person .
So that endith my marriage.Well looking back it wasn't full of romance or tenderness for many years . And being as crook as a dog I got that ring of my finger quick smart never going back on either.
Well that's me free as bird funny I have no friends (lost them all over the years )would love some friends .Rambling on here sorry Reformed smoker non drinker Not sure what else to say but the above helps to get it off my chest as it hasn't been 2 weeks yet . Cheers
