I always wanted to learn to dance Sevillana and since living in Spain I learned to dance like in this video although I'm not quite as good with the hands as these dancers but got to quite a good standard
If you read my opening post you will see that this thread wasn't intended to promote hate but rather to call it out and encourage the opposite. The link I share is to a list of worldwide pacifists
So this here comment of your is rather saying the intention of my thread was a success eventually
When I used to eat bacon I often had it in a wholemeal bun with garlic slightly rubbed on the inside of the lightly toasted bun with a fried egg (yokes runny) and thinly sliced tomatoes. I sometimes added sliced cheese too …
It will take some time … right now it's like when the dragon is having his fire put out and his tail goes berserk in one last attempt at regaining power … I believe right now we're watching "the tail of the dragon going berserk and creating chaos" … many people are waking up and realising the unsustainable ways of living and expectations and unfairness and many people's consciousness is being expanded...
It's important to feed the light and not the density … the more people become conscious the less nourishment the density gets
Much harm has been done in the name of the catholic religion in certain countries especially line Ireland and Spain for instance.
One of the 10 commandments is "Thou shall not kill" and yet one of the Saints celebrated each year in this Area is "Santiago El Matamoros" (The Maure Killer) because the story goes that he miraculously appeared and intervenes, in aid of the Christians, slaying Maures during their battle to expel them. His statue shows a guy on horse back on its hind legs, holding a sword ready to strike a Maure laying on the floor under the hooves of the horse. The statue is INSIDE the church and in one of the church halls. When I organised an Art Multicultural event a few years back I told them we couldn't have the statue in the Church hall because it wasn't representative of multicultural embracing.... they put it away but brought it back out afterwards
I know a few where I live who are "quick with their tongue" but also some beautiful souls who go to church every day …
It's a small community but I get away with living however I choose "because I grew up and worked abroad" so I'm not expected to know "about their ways"
I never set "my clock" by society's expectations … there are 3 different society's (countries/cultures) in my family and if I tried to set my clock by any of them I'd be in a permanent quandary …
I set my clock by what I want to do irrespective of if it's been done before or not …
When I was in secondary school (in France) I was told I wasn't clever enough to study maths and science at Bacalaureat level (A levels) so I'd have to do some general studies and become a secretary or similar … I told them I would do no such thing. I wanted to study "Travel and Tourism" … They told me it didn't exist... I replied I didn't care! That's what I wanted to study. I was so insistent that they ended up doing some research on courses and discovered that at the same Bac school where I was going to be doing my supposed "general studies to become a secretary" there was also a "Travel and Tourism" 3 year Bacalaureat course which they had known nothing about! I took the entry exam and passed!!
