So, according to your logic, the White House staff, including Rumsfeld, weren't smart enough to realise the banner they created, supplied, and put on display, might not be misconstrued by the media as meaning the war in Iraq was over. That they must have been a bunch of bumbling idiots not to see that coming.

Ok, I'll buy that.


Still, no reason to blame the Navy for all of it, and that was the point I was making in the first place, it's wrong to go blaming others for your own mistakes.

Feel free to blame the Navy if you like, or even Obama for that matter, it'll still be wrong.

Sad thing is, there was a "person" on the Aussie forums claiming to have 22 fake profiles on the site. It got deleted, but who really knows what others (if any) they also have. I know there are at least 14 other fake profiles floating around as well, several of them created by one woman, and numerous people with two profiles, some of them Canadians.

I don't report people, but even if I did, what's to stop them from simply creating another one within mere minutes of one being deleted?

Just be careful who you chat with, and ask to see them on Skype, or something similar, or even better yet, meet them in person.

It was more the "make him" part of your post that struck me as being manipulative, but defend it if you like.

Most humans wouldn't like someone trying to "make them" do anything in the early stages of dating, it's human behaviour.

I have no doubt there are some guys that enjoy chasing women, but don't believe everything you read in a book, and especially magazine articles. Many of them are written simply to entertain and make money.

Still doesn't answer why she can't persue him.

It's not gravity, it's inertia, and yes, it applies to flies too. Gravity will however ensure that you land on the ground or on something after you lose momentum, rather than float away into thin air.

Always remember, wear your seatbelt, and keep your 12 pack of Bud in the trunk, or when you crash it'll smack you in the back of the head, because inertia applies to beer too!

Funny, 40 years of breathing in cold air and it hasn't killed me or wrecked my health in any way, other than maybe my mental health.

Not just cold, but down to -56 C and working out in -40 something for 12 to 14 hours at a time.
