RE: this president is a commander in cowardnice

Freddy was laying the blame on the Navy, saying that Bush had nothing to do with it, or did you fail to see that.

Maybe you need better glasses.

RE: this president is a commander in cowardnice

What propaganda? What mountain?

None of that started until you showed up, so blame yourself for that.

So, according to your logic, the White House staff, including Rumsfeld, weren't smart enough to realise the banner they created, supplied, and put on display, might not be misconstrued by the media as meaning the war in Iraq was over. That they must have been a bunch of bumbling idiots not to see that coming.

Ok, I'll buy that. laugh

Still, no reason to blame the Navy for all of it, and that was the point I was making in the first place, it's wrong to go blaming others for your own mistakes.

Feel free to blame the Navy if you like, or even Obama for that matter, it'll still be wrong.

RE: this president is a commander in cowardnice

Ask Rumsfeld.laugh

RE: this president is a commander in cowardnice

No, nothing wrong, other than this statement by Freddy.

"Want to know something? Bush had nothing to do w/that "Mission Accomplished" sign. It was put up by the crew on the ship."

Seeing as the banner came from the White House, it had everything to do with Bush, and his administration.

RE: this president is a commander in cowardnice

Yes, Rumsfeld to the rescue, it must have been a Democrat that wrote Georgie's speach for him.laugh

Your point? confused

RE: Monogamy, Polygamy, Free Love or What?

I was hoping someone else could tell me what that "or what" is, I'm intrigued by the notion of something different, possibly better. very happy

RE: Do you think that men ...

Ask her for a link, it's probably from a popular women's magazine article on, "Manipulation and dating in the 21st century". laugh

A few pages down you'll likely find an article on, "How to emasculate your man". laugh laugh

Next issue, "Why your man isn't anything like your father".rolling on the floor laughing

doh

Sorry CB, but I find this all rather humourous. grin

RE: Monogamy, Polygamy, Free Love or What?

I'll take the "or what" option, it sounds interesting.hmmm

RE: LOVE is in the Air

I was out grocery shopping.laugh

Never did understand the "chase" or "conquest" mentality, but whatever, maybe it works for some.

I'll have a look. grin

RE: found him!!!!!!

I'm good, thanks, hope you are too. hug

Sad thing is, there was a "person" on the Aussie forums claiming to have 22 fake profiles on the site. It got deleted, but who really knows what others (if any) they also have. I know there are at least 14 other fake profiles floating around as well, several of them created by one woman, and numerous people with two profiles, some of them Canadians.

I don't report people, but even if I did, what's to stop them from simply creating another one within mere minutes of one being deleted?dunno

Just be careful who you chat with, and ask to see them on Skype, or something similar, or even better yet, meet them in person.

Ho Onlywave

Maybe it couldn't figure out what to wear on the dates.laugh

RE: found him!!!!!!

I didn't forget...completely. blushing

I'll mail you.bouquet

RE: LOVE is in the Air

It was more the "make him" part of your post that struck me as being manipulative, but defend it if you like.laugh

Most humans wouldn't like someone trying to "make them" do anything in the early stages of dating, it's human behaviour.wink

Would you?

RE: found him!!!!!!

I'm good, thanks, how are you? hug

Nothing new, same ol', still in Edmonton waiting for the snow to disappear. roll eyes

You'd think she/he would had a peek at their equipment before putting up a profile here, just so there was no confusion.laugh

RE: LOVE is in the Air

I have no doubt there are some guys that enjoy chasing women, but don't believe everything you read in a book, and especially magazine articles. Many of them are written simply to entertain and make money.laugh

Still doesn't answer why she can't persue him.

RE: LOVE is in the Air

Why can't she persue him?confused

Where do people get the idea that guys like "the chase"? Just because some article said so?laugh

RE: found him!!!!!!

That is kinda creepy isn't it. uh oh

RE: A Fly In The Air In A vehicle

It's not gravity, it's inertia, and yes, it applies to flies too. Gravity will however ensure that you land on the ground or on something after you lose momentum, rather than float away into thin air.laugh

Always remember, wear your seatbelt, and keep your 12 pack of Bud in the trunk, or when you crash it'll smack you in the back of the head, because inertia applies to beer too!beer laugh

RE: Ladies: longness or longevity

After reading that, I need a nap.laugh

RE: cold air good or bad??

I've played doctor before, does that count?grin laugh

Funny, 40 years of breathing in cold air and it hasn't killed me or wrecked my health in any way, other than maybe my mental health. crazy laugh

Not just cold, but down to -56 C and working out in -40 something for 12 to 14 hours at a time.

Could you please try to be slightly less dramatic while you're deflecting, and evading the question?laugh

You can always answer, "I don't know", that would at least be an honest answer.roll eyes
