Ooby, the thing you are missing here...is why Russia call's Bout extradiction "illegal" and that he is merely a 'Russian Business man that should be back in Moscow'.

That goes to how he has getting the weapons from Russian armories and weapons makers. Bout knows were all the bodies are buried and who all the players are in modern Russia weapons sales, is my thought. I bet he has a copy of his of supplier list in some bank vault for safe keeping and a time like this.

The closer he comes to US sentencing to the weapon charges....the price of the list to FED authorites is going to take a nose dive.....

They thought that they had a slam dunk on the SKorea trade pact signing.
When SKorea balked at the signing....it caught them off balance. Then within 48 hours later, Nkorea is showing a new nuc material process facility that they did not know was there.

Right now the White House is scrambling to into the next time of talks. That is why the White House brought back the 6 party talks......

We had it right during the GWB years. The only way to pressure NKorea into complaince was with the 6 party talks. Obama listened to his 300 foreign policy advisers...and though he could go it alone....boy, did he make a mistake.

This is going to cost us some money. The 6 party will agree to what ever terms that NKorea asks for to get back to the nuc talks. NKorea is going to ask for food/fuel/meds....and Uncle Sam is going to pick up the bill.

Well seems that display of 2000 spinning centrifuges worked.

The US is to begin talk with NKorea......and guess what? Now it back to 6 party talks. Dang, guess old GWB had it right back then.....when he first put the 6 party talks together. Dang and your contributing blogger white paper that the 6 party was the way to go.......

The US SKorean envoy.....Stephen Bosworth....announced in Soul. When he said the following "My crystal ball is foggy but I would never call any process dead. We have hope to that we will be able to resucitate them."

If that is not diplomatic double talk......then please leave your hat at the door. Stephen does not want to show the administration weak in the area. After failing to get a SKoran trade agreement and now being forced to use the 6 party talks again.

The Korean issue has so badly been handled by the present Administration...it is amazing that the SKorean are letting Americans set foot into their country. They registered that by holding off on signing the trade agreement.

It started with Washington's half hearted support of SKorean when the Chonan was sunk. The SKorean wanted to take the issue to the UN Security Council. Only good old Washington step in deflected it from going there. No reason to rattle those sabers, when only 46 Skorean died. Maybe the number for saber rattling is 200 deathes, who know....only Washington does.

Washington response the Chonan sinking was to surface a cruise carrying boomer near NKorea...placing it and it crew into danger. Latter we have two boomer captian stand the Captian mast....for saying things critical of the Administration. Those things are still non public....the trials have not ended yet.

Then President Obama, who had already done a reset on the trade pact already agreed to at the end of the GWB last term. Want to to do his trade pact for the Obama Asia show of recent. Only the SKorean bowed politely and turned collective their backs to him. They were still ticked about the Chonan and his nampy pampy response to it.

Now NKorea show a nuc material process plant to a American scientist...
and the 6 party talks are going to 'resucitated'. Placing China and Russia into the driver seat on the talks....Obama has lost the figurative head of them. It was he that broke them up, when he want to individually engage NKorea.

So this is a unmitigated disaster that he has going in Korea. How one man can lose the political influence, prestiges and power of the Office of the Presidency so fast in a mere two year of residency....is amazing in Koreas.

What works in European diplomacy, does not work in Korea were the DMZ is the most fortified zone in the world. But that is exactly how the Obama administration has played this. They played the Chonan sinking as if it was a friendly fire incident. Or a accident. It was not...it was a act of war by a country that torn up the truce agreement months earlier.

The SKorean response was not accidental. They let President Obama hang on the Trade Pact signing till the last minute.....then walked away.
They fired a broad side into his Asia trip that he is still reeling from. Basically saying....we don't need the US trade. Not when we sit so close to monster China.

Well the SKorea/US relationship was develop during the Korean war....that cost the United States....53,000 in deaths. President Obama has been able in two short years...make them all null, void and irrelevant. One might even say...in vain deaths.

If you listen to the REP pundits....they say the TEA Party is what turned the tide for the REP canidate. You need to put a honest handle on how DEM lost 60 seats in the Congress. Just telling us that BHO is the greatest thing since sliced bread....does not work any more.

BHO did not push Made in Americna to get elected. He is the one for international trade agreements and for being friendly with every country in the world. Why did he renegotiate the SKorean trade agreement that he could not then sign?

He is the one that asked for the renogiatations....the why is the first had GWB name on it. It was not good enough for our BHO....now he has nothing. That is good planning. There was more in that single trade agreement than the 10b contract with India. he loses it because he egotistical and like you ...think that if it was REP written, it is wrong.

A good question to ask...is how many American jobs are lost because the trade agreement was not signed.

FYI...the Chamber said it not going to oppose some of Obama agenda in the second half.....better be nice....the chamber is a lot of votes on the House floor now.

GM....the company that just had its IPO...since bankruptcy and is being hailed as the great Obama corporate turn around....

Is about to send its near all electric (the Volt) to the dealers and to the marketplace. If these is one thing that Americans know how to do ...it is anaylsis if a car is going to be a success in the market. We have more than one failure of recent....less I say Hummer at this point.

The first take on GM's Volt.....is not promising. The projected sales for both the Nissan all EV Leaf and GM's Volt is 30000 unit in the US. Can someone say...Ouch. That a very small fraction of the marketplace. If you divide the market between them....that 15,000 units each.

I will not return to the issue of GM former CEO Wagoner that the Obama administration placed under its all electric bus....to much....but Wagnor said in sworn Congressional testimony that his Volt was going to sell for $26,000 and they would sell 25,000 unit the first year.

The principle reason that the Obama model Volt is projecting sales of 15,000 unit? High price. The Obama Model Volt is going to sell at near $45,000. Rats, funny things happen when you move to a socialist managed government.

Now I know Dude considers this nagging...that the American auto consumer....should be on his knees and thanking the White House for the Volt. But as they say on the used car lot, a lemon is lemon....and I rather you have it, than me.

Other than having a nice exterior and interior look, the Volt is a It has the get up and go of a snail and the its electric power is only good for 40 miles. Then you turn on a 3 cylinder motor, that is little larger than your mower for cutting grass. Its mileage is 40 mpg, a respectful figure. But you got to charge the battery every 40 miles. Either by use or cord. Just a minute let me run out side and plug my Volt in. You don't mind if I siffon some Kws from you today?

I think we can use the Volt in our war on terrorism. We give some to the Taliban and alQeada in Afghanistan...and in Yemen. Tell them they are gifts from the Obama Administration for all the touchie feelies that the TSA is getting at present. When the Volt runs out of juice....in swoops the Predator to finish off bin laden and al-Awlaki. They don't have many electric out lets in these remote area were these boys ride.

But back to GM. GM stock on the first day of trade bumped. The next day it fell. With the Volt to hit the show room soon, we will have the first test of the Obama turn around of GM. Because if the stock tanks from its $34 per share...so did the IPO and turn around. By the way....the financially anaylist are saying that for GM to repay it bailout funds....it needs to sell at $55 per share. So anyone for saying the 15,000 Volt in sales is going to push the GM stock up $22?

Let us move to 5000 miles away....to NKorea.

North Korea just showed the former director of the US Los Alamos Nuclear facility.....a secret and hidden nuclear material processing site that had 2000 centrifuges spinning away it.

Sigfried Heckler on his return to the US....said...it was 'stunning'.

The North Koreans said the material is for a new reactor that they hope to have up and gieger clicking away soon. Ain't they sweet. Knock one down and put one up.

The South Korean take on this....'is to force the Obama administration back to the negotiation table with NKorea'. This said by Yank Moon-jin professor at University of North Korean Studies in Soul.

The NKorean said they started the facility in April of 2009 and just had completed it. That is only 1 and 1/2 years. Some one has a mass production line of centrifuges that they are keeping under wraps. A Henry Ford of nuclear centrifuges is out there in the world someplace. If you guessing someplace in NKorea...I would not bet against you.

Yang-jin.....said the display was also for the NKorean General Command consumption. That by going public on the facility that can make highly enrich nuclear bomb grade making materials (according to Heckler). That this means the NKorean gov't is willing to provide them with more nucs.

Hence the young regime of the next Kim is becoming established.

My suggestion is....we need nuclear powered autos and other vehicles....that way everyone on the block can have his/her own centrifuge for kicking out LEU materials and the infrequent nut case can spin his a little faster for his need for speed and HEU materials that go BOOM.

What is the problem, Dude? Having trouble deciding if men and women should go to war?

President Obama does it every couple of weeks. With a signature of a pen on a deployment order. So did GWB. And Bush senior. And Clinton. And Reagon.

In each of the units are real men and women...that have families....that want only to serve their country....and will do exactly what their leaders order them to do and to go.

It is a real tough emotional thing for leader to pick the men and women from their armed forces that they will send into harm way. Not that they know them often on a first name bases.....but they are their troop and their countries military. But they seldom have any idea of whom will return safely.

Ordering a deployment is not easy.

President Obama just set himself up to order deployments for another 4 years to 2015 in Afghanistan. At least thru his first term. I can respect that. But you know what....you should respect GWB for being able to do it in Iraq as well......whether the war there was right or wrong.

The demonstration here....was to show those in CS....how fast a a realistic military deployment order can be decided and ordered. Also how simply 'cold heart it can be' and how the 'luck of the draw' to which mil units are placed into harms way.

The missions have not been defined....but this is a very realistic deployment list of forces from Russia and China to the western sides of Pakistan....In reality....it might take several days. But the several of the units, I selected were rapid deployment forces....they are ready go in 24 hours.

Since Russia is willing to 'participate'....China will come onboard. They do not want Russia their northern Sino-Russia partner to get a strong foot hold further into Central Asia. If China opts out....then we add another 10,000 from the each of the others.....and divide the region in to three.

So we can pressure China in to participating. Or can do it without them....

I am so glad you had this idea of Russian and Chinese participation in the Pakistan against for alQeada and Taliban, Dude. It is a heck of a idea.

I bet they did not think of it in NATO at the Lisbon meeting. So we need to join forces and make a joint proposal to the parties.

So why don't we make a bi party proposal? Me from the conservative Americans and you from liberal Europeans. I will research out the 4 needed division that Russian and China need to contribute. Mountain trained Divisions....am sure both have them. But that is about 24,000 to 30,000 men each.

And write up a contingency and joint operation paper. The US will contribute another 30,000....a another surge. NATO can contribute 30,000. That would be a total 120,000 foreign troops in Waristan and the Tribal area of Pakistan. Add in the 150,000 troops and border security that Pakistan has there. We got 270,000 troops.....against the estimated 30,000 to 50,000 Taliban and alQeada. We have modest geographic area to cover...only about 1/2 the size of Afghanistan. We got them outnumbered big time. With our real time imagery shared, thy will not be able to move with out the four groups knowing about it.

With a force deployment like this.....this conflict is history.

Now on the big geo political level. Watch how this plays out. Russia....wants START ratified. With Russian troops in the Pakistan, the REP and Tea Party in the Senate have less reason to block START. Russia can gets START this way. So does Obama. He get his major international agreement for his legacy.

And in China? The Currency thingee. China want the freedom to value her currency anyplace that it wants to. For the military deployment to a region of Pakistan, the Obama Administration will not say a word about currency till the 2014 withdrawl. NATO countries will likely do the same.

We divide these areas of Pakistan up into 4 area of foreign force control. Like was done in Kosovo. Russia had a sector in Kosovo. We worked with them there. China borders on Pakistan. We can give them a secotr nearest to China. The US has a Sector. NATO has a sector. Russia gets it sector. And Pakistan has joint troops with each. Eveyoe can run independent mission or joint missions. Giving flexibility. Command is a joint 4 party command. We base it in Peshwar...home of the frigin Taliban. We divide the city in 4 sectors....one for each of the groups.

When do you want the formal draft of this to submit to Moscow, China and NATO, Dude? I will submit to the White House and REP here. I wil do NATO as well....but you being European...I thought you would like to do that.

The mere fact that GE can both sell equipment to Iran and still be a honorable American companies...shows how enlightened Liberals are. They can see past the fact that Americans were getting killed by the triggering device that GE likely supplied to Iran for the greater liberal good. That Iran military flies and drive on GE power plants and part.....to which this is 'all still good'...even though it is a violation of the sanctions on Iran for its nuclear materials programs.

Let us return to START for a moment.

months ago the Obama administration was considering using "provincial measures" that would extend START without a Senate ratification.

Obama was considering then to let the Russian inspector s to see US Nuclear facilities and that they were being dismantled...into the country without a Senate approval of Start, He was willing to do this if the DUMA passed Start in Russia.

He quote the administration's weapons of mass destruction, security, and arms control coordinator Gary Samore "The most ideal situation would be to finish it (the treaty) in time that it could be ratified by the Senate. If we are not able to do that, we'll have to look at arrangements to continue some of the inspections provisions, keep them enforced on a provisional basis, while the Senate considers the treaty."

So?

The wisdom of letting Russian inspectors into the US for a peek see at our nuclear facilities without treaty is very suspect thinking. Really! Did Cornwallis sign the peace treaty first and then hand over his weapons at Yorktown. Or did he invite Washington in to Yorktown to have a look around to see his fortification and defense and then sign a peace treaty? One has military wisdom to it. The other is a nut case leading a Army to certain defeat.

But since the Administration is already consider these provision based inspections while a full Senate hearings can be conducted.....then why the rush to make it fall into the Lame Duck session? Bingo....that
increase of REP/Tea Party pick up of 6 Senate seats that will soon be sat.

The Quack is on you. The Senate only has 1 week of Lame Duck Session. The most START will get is 1 and 1/2 days of floor time. That ain't enough time for a vote.

I had McDonald yesterday....the food was hot, fast, and inexpensive. What more do you want for a restraunt company? Were as, the only danger of going to a McDonald is the hot coffee that get split into your lap ...when the your car jerks forward from the pick up....then you get chance to sue.

GE on the other hand....is selling weapons and maybe these triggering devices to Iran. Those roadside IEDS killed about 2500 American in Iraq. And wounded 35,000 others.

But here is the thing. None of those military are in a position to sue GE....assuming they did the deals on the triggering device deals with Iran. As US military and federal employees, they have to press any law suit thru the Administration.

I have been trying to figure why GE and the Obama administration have such a close relation. This is apretty good reason..of likely several. GE by having this relationship with the administration minimized the law suits of injured US military. A pretty good reason to donate to the Obama administration the way GE did.

Pakistan just refuse a US request to enlarge the Predator zones in the country. Seems that along, the US has these zone inside Paksitan that the Predator could operate. Most are in the Waristan and Northwest tribal area.

Which brings us to this. With the Pakistani ISS having such a close connection to the Taliban, anyone wish to debate the idea the the Taliban and alQeada did not know were these fly zone were?

If they did....they just build their command compounds outside of them.....and they don't worry about Predator attacks.
