is there a heat discharge somehow . I gather that the draw would be at a calculated rate and it it was twice as fast the batteries would be half stuffed . I have a heat sink for auto control of overcharging that I have never hooked up because I can't measure if its more than , and it has to be , than the input from my hydro plant to stop overcharging . Must work the same as your resistors just a little roughish as the guts of it is curled wire . I shall put it up tomorrow .

what a funny thing that you can comment on any thing and think you are correct , all of the male members of my parents served during the second world war , on the allied side . My mothers side ended with the death of my uncle ,the only male on her side . My father was a prisoner of war and spent time on the European counter marches . He met many Irish serving either with Irish made up units , others amongst other allied army's . So what were your family doing pal .

My lead acid are quoted at a 2o hour as well , 420 the bigger ones . Rehabed them by swopping fluid between cells a liter at a time . Slow job but worth it . Came back from the dead 12 months ago . No way are they close to their 420 amp/hr now .
