these people who write about vehicles don't use the one they are writing about every day . No way is an airbag a benefit in an off road work vehicle . They are a danger, thumping a bank or tree is routine enough to fire airbags . Currently their are limited "work ready" 4x4's on the market . Hilux used to be good but has gone independent front suspension and all soft pronounced panels . Cruiser is so bloody costly . Ford Ranger venerable but most popular because of lack of choice .There is a problem with the Defender gear box . Local Defender had it's g/box replaced on guarantee (same family as red on mentioned ) , small hole between to area's of box was two small to allow oil levels to be maintained . Simple drill out sorts it but no , fools running Rover would not allow drill out as would void guarantee . They got rid of that one after spending thousands fixing motor /turbo etc for just enough to cover repair costs . I would have given good money for Rover without motor or gear box in it and repowered with Nissan 2.8 diesel and s111 gear box . No problem with fitting doors , one piece window and comfy seats , luxury in a modest way .

ahaha the vents were taken out a few years back when rust attacked the area , rather like the idea of having a full rolldown , taking off the door tops is alright round here but not an idea running to town with weather changes

Saw a neighbours Flat deck Defender (TD5 diesel ) in the workshop last week , he was saying computer has failed , come as a surprise that they had one .

I am hoping to upgrade my s111 this year , I need some defender doors with roll down windows . Cheap ones too , none of this 500 each bull . I bought a brand new door top this year , flash as it has no rusted out inside panel and I don't have to hold it with my elbow . Keep an eye out for that Rover Robo .

P.S. need rover green paint on too .

dono about all that , when Saddam sent a hit squad to nail Bush senior after the first Iraq war the threat was taken seriously by G Bush jnr who bombed the place flat for a decade ,making damn sure Saddam got to take a long jump with a short rope round his nek .Threats should not be made against a leader unless they are meant .Cause you can discount this post if you's think it was about installing democracy to Iraq .

10 years ago you were right . Putin has rebuilt a lot of his services and trained them to a first class force second to none . Whats more US JSF will put western air forces behind the eight ball for a generation to come as its a dog .

I lost my rain coat with my epirb in a pocket , forgot about it when I was slaying trees and now will be covered . ?? as these trees will be burnt May next will my epirb come on in the heat like cars burning have their lights and horns come on .

not keen on getting an Orion looking for me come burn day . As the epirb is a personalised one their wont be the opportunity to say its not mine . New ones are called PLB so might be having a name change

there has been a number of people killed with dating sites the linking issue here over the years . One just recently , young woman travelled to Aus from NZ . Not gone through the courts yet . I can think of two unconnected killings within 2 and a half hours drive of here . Dating sites are dangerous places . Take the matter seriously as its no joke . Again , the woman killed in Aus was from within 2 and a half hours drive from here .

they won't be in trouble long , Russia has every thing a country needs in bulk . Oil is cheap at the moment but its needed by the west and China . Their jets, tanks and AK's have just got cheaper and are a match for any thing the rest of the world sells . You should worry more about western economics than Russian .

this is the one guy who should have been on a watch list , be paranoid to say he was deliberately left off the list , be naïve to say it could not happen . Leaving a known loose cannon around can have a predictable result . Constant crap saying he is/was no part of ISIL ignores that they don't hold meetings taking minutes of who was present with apologies sent along by absent members .
