yea ,starting a paulownia forest on an urban street would be one , giving shoots to your neighbours soon would be a good idea too . Nothing like having everybody on the same side

Oh... the update...around my Paulownia trees... One (on the street) has taken off really well, the second one ( on the street) is struggling, has not grown much... and the third one.. I have actually moved it 3 times, as it doesn't like any of the spots yet.. is doing drastically bad.. going to move it again... and see if I can give it a new lease on life...
Bit disappointing really...
Will show you photos when I get a chance to see daylight... cant shoot at night... well, I can, of course, but its cold, wet and muddy down there...

epirb: Moving might be the trouble
Well, perhaps you are right, but I find it strange that of the two that are on the footpath, one has grown and one hasn't... although, the stuggling fella gets afternoon shade from the ash trees...
Never mind... if one only is a success, I will still be happy... and btw..
our street is suburban, yes, but our blocks of land are 2400 squares, so its not like we are bunched up.. we aren't.. and some of our gum trees which line the streets have girths of about 20 blokes all shoved together...
My front is 220 m.. and the council owns the first 9 metres, and after all these years, have not done a thing.. which is why I built the retaining walls..
Its an old suburb here... settled in 1840.. and all sorts grow.. and in the hills... not the plains..

its a boundary fence and jim already had a mains unit and added hot wire on each side, otherwise would have another plain wire through the middle of the mesh, having sheep and cows it do good job for few years maybe A Roo made a hole through one last year
