RE: Question....So tell me!

sometimes calling somebody the seemingly most derogatory name or word can mean the very opposite , a term of endearment . Something you earn to be called or somebody has earnt .

RE: THE REASON WHY I POSTED THE THREAD ABOUT HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI

Hmm, you explained your perception of others and the world, to some extent, and compared yourself to others' reactions to your presence on CS. But, how does this explain why you posted your obvious hatefully perceived thread bashing the USA?[/quote]You must be sensitive , I thought it was an early VJ celebrations thread doh .Hell just as well I found out as I thought a re-enactment might be called for , like nuking Tehran .doh can't have that as the USofA is hug mates with them this week !!! professor you might get your sack of nuts yet Galrads if 'Bama plays his cards right .

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

crying that's a sad story , farming puts you through this all the time having 5-6 work dogs , all the horses , favourite cows ,pet lambs not to mention stinking billy goats . It is never easy and as the years tick by it gets harder putting them down . A lot of work dogs are just that but every now and then one comes along that's special . Same goes for horses .

Emma , last day on the beef cattle before she retired to a dairy farm . Little lady went on to catch a wild pig and a large red hind all by herself , not to mention countless possums and hares , in the three years she was retired before she had to be put down .

RE: Australia and The Penny

RE: Australia and The Penny

with Goofy running our reserve bank and pushing our dollar higher one wonders if a stack of gold might be better than money in the bank .

RE: Australia and The Penny

not surprised seeing country is run by Mickey Mouse

RE: Australia and The Penny

The reserve bank moved the decimal point here dropping coins and introducing 1 and 2 dollar coins . Although they never put it that way and not all done at once I think .

RE: buckle your seat belts

TET ? I have read where the US thought another coup was taking place .

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

yea , missed out on big grunter as a sod put a bid in at last moment and I had not refreshed my computer at the last moment . Emailed the guy who built it on another of his listings detective via a question , he is able to build me one . Later generation tubes cost double and have no benefit so I will keep to gen 1 in spite of the size .

RE: buckle your seat belts

chatter on the radio was comparing Iraq to VN and the fall of Saigon , looks more like Phnom Penh

RE: Wake up time

Lucky it was not big sleep time , thought you were on holiday somewhere .

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

You won't see them in shops anywhere . They are home builds , built with an X US tubes with what looks like camera lenses . The lenses need a 42 mm thread which I believe is standard size and can use any lenses that fit . This one weighs about 2 kg , the little one I got last week is so light I thought the box was empty . There is a problem , when looking through the thing (small one ) the light of the screen causes one eye to be affected by the light , stop looking through it and your eye feels like you have blinded it till it gets used to the dark like other eye . China made the little one . To stop right eye blindness I might put little remote laptop camera up to eyepiece of the big grunter and watch on screen . There is a lot of info on the trade-me link , fella usually sells on e-bay

RE: Random Thoughts .. Again

No way with Fastway motorcycle I bought a exhaust manifold for D7 from Melbourne ,confirmed all on a Monday morning , at my gate Friday night .

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

Look at the guys comments about rats in the questions , I never asked about them but was thinking hard about them though . My little one of these does them just fine . Pic seven would suit Pebs

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

Not vast areas and the rates are a tax .

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

Didn't know you could buy gators at a grocery shop , getting them alive must make them fresher and easier to keep without a fridge .

A lot of animals introduced to NZ have caused problems for our ground nesting birds . As NZ had no mammals native to NZ , mammals have thrived because of nothing predates on them ,pigs possums deer goats ferrets stoats cats rats mice . Left to their own , it would make a mess of our forests . That's just the mammals , then theres the weeds and fish . I often wonder why they never brought in foxes pumas crocs leopards . Thank krist they didn't as we spend millions controlling the imports now ,my council rates for possums would be over $ 1000.00 every year . My son and his mate got 35 possums Saturday night , 2 kg's of fur , not here though as there would not be 35 possums in 20 square km's .
P.S. be a bit tricky snooping around after a fat little porker if theres effing leopards eying up the same pork .Jezzz ,makes the hair on my neck stand up just thinking about it .

RE: BEING PLAYED

looks like it might be a case of "pay to take "

RE: June Photo Comp - "Pets"

I am the proud (hopefully)owner , paid for not delivered of one of the following . A cheap $138.00 delivered , night vision aid . Has a range of 60 meters , hopefully . Better than looking at the screen of my trail cameras and having it switch off all the time as its supposed to .

It looks a later generation than the one my brother turned up with as there appears to be no red dot emitter thing . He was having a play with it when I saw the small red light , not knowing that one should never shine a torch at these things I did so . The flash of light to the Night vision aid fair blew his head off as he was looking into it at the time .
