I had done threads with Greek people.They must have trusted me that we continued.I sold silk carpets wholesale.The business was in Istanbul but they just came to my hometown to visit me not for threads but to know someone like me.This is what they told.We had jokes like your grangfathers did this, yours did this.Everybody isn't still leaving in past.Our food are similar.You have nice music.Raki and mastic.You could have been born as a Turk and I as a Greek.What is the thigamsjic we can't share then? This is real me.A couple of my previous posts were holding a mirror.I can imagine what you would be posting if you were Turkish and sure you would be much more nationalist than me.I am holding you a hand and to all the others here.

epicure: Some people go and find a real pearl some use imitation/fake ones.Muslims with ugly beards who kill others who claim they do this for Islam are fake muslims.There are some who are aware of the abstract of Islam who can understand it and some who has lack of cognition.People who have lack of cognation are just into shape and they don't know the abstract of what they think they believe in.There are many of those who I am fighting with in Turkiye too.They don't read Quran but they have respect to it.They put them up in high places and when I say the paper, the ink,the cover of Quran is not holy.You have to read it,read in your language.Not only read it,think on it.They even want to get me kicked off my job just because I say cover,papers and ink of Quran is not holy.I read passages from Holy Bible too and I read some of them to my students in my lssons.To believe in Quran you have to read the others as well and compare and choose.That's what I say.

There are extremists in all the religions and also in within atheists.
However, there is a difference between Islam and other religions.
Many Islamists do not want a secular governments (to be apart from religion) this on one side and the other part is the human rights in the Muslim societies where women are kept mostly for reproductive purposes and the way women are treated in some Muslim countries is a disgrace.
All countries have good and bad things but to let religion dictate the destiny of a country is not the best to me. What a person believes in or not must be just personal.
I did not like either the nuclear bombing of Japan but the bashing of Americans because of it, that is unfair because they are not responsible of it yet their Exterior Policy has been very much alike if they have either a Republican or a Democratic government.
