I honour everyone right to be and to create under the influence of whichever substance they choose

I also honour my right to choose not to become involved with someone who cannot function unless they are under the influence of one substance or another ... not out of judgement ... simply out of respect for my quality of life...

Having said that, I have a few friends who mostly function under the influence of a substance of other ... but I have the freedom of walking away whenever ...

Ahhh but! I was not talking about someone's body shape precisely! I totally agree with you!
I was literally talking about the beer belly that is the result of beer guzzling! in which case it's the beer guzzling that is in direct connection with his emotional intelligence when under the ingluence rather than the actual size of his midriff....

The man's intellect and emotional intelligence would be greatly diminished by his intake of beer
As would his ability to do many things... the beer gut is just one of the clues easily picked up by the naked eye

Snow is hitting Spain now and in some parts quite heavily! Here in spite of a sunny start temperature have plummeted by 10c so instead of 17c it's 7c today... a couple of 100m up the mountain they have snow ...
It changed overnight !

Many countries where the kids wear school uniform tend to have uniforms also in workplaces ...
I think in countries where the kids don't wear school uniform, people have learned what is adequate to wear for different occasions from an early age...
In France and Spain there doesn't seem to be a problem with inadequate clothes at work for instance...

Just my observation ...
