I'm in and making a wish. I would like to meet someone where we each make our hearts flutter. I want someone where I can do and go places with and yes keep housey. Girl friends are nice, but it's nice being with a man that knocks your socks offs.
Good Grief - I'm somewhat new to the site and am really enjoying the forums. My dog hasn't quite learn to communicate with me so it's nice to come on line and see you all are saying. It's like a very big family, especially, when I see where everyone is from and you all seem to know one another. Really cool.
I think you're right about we need to clean the slate. But, some just can't seem to do that, then they think you'll be like the person who did them wrong. Problem is for a woman who really cares about the guy, she's spending the whole time proving herself. Sometimes it's too late when the guy realizes that person was different.
Why get married. It helps if one of the mates is dying. By not being married the family can come in and make the decisions. The healthy mate doesn’t have a say.
I like to take the unfamiliar road. Friends consider me the activity director I've been called a crazy lady - whitewater rafting, hot air ballooning are examples.
I just got a Van Morrison CD, and have been listening to "Someone Like You" over, and over, and over, well you get the picture. I love that song. I think it was used in the ending credits of the movie, "French Kiss". One of my favorite movies.
Boy, how true. When I am in love my heart flutters; spirit soaring. That's the only way I can describe it. I have that feeling towards someone now. He doesn't share my strong feelings, which is fine. I'm enjoying the time I spend with him; I'm in the moment. And so far no one has come into my life where I have the same feelings or that person has those feelings towards me. Now, if it were emotion to love, I wouldn't give this man a second thought. He's really not someone I would go for and we have very little in common. But boy, he knocks my socks off.
I put the below joke on a post and then got to thinking I would ask the question on a Thread. Are we that Complicated?
A man was riding his motorcycle when he heard a voice from above call out his name. The man looked around and the voice said, "I am God, and I will grant you a wish.”
The man in turn said, "God, I love riding my motorcycle, would you build me a highway from here, California, to Hawaii?
God, answered the man, “Oh, come on, that’s easy, surly, you can think of a better wish?”
“Well”, the man said with some thought, “I really would like to have the tools to better understand a woman.”
God, took a minute to reply, and said, “One lane or two?”
Ummmm, I feel in love right now. My spirit has been soaring/dancing for three days. He's such a manly man; just seeing him makes my heart flutter. I don't want to come of this high.
I don't like it. On another site, I put my picture up and it was great the first 5 minutes. I got a couple of 10's, then, yeah, all of sudden I went from a 8.25 down to a 5.25.
One thing I found interesting; the younger guys rated me better than the old farts that claim to be around my age. What nerve those old guys.
RE: Looking for that special love!!!!Seriously!!!
