Got shot by a Criminal in a Country that has extremely tight Gun Laws,yet it is awash with Illegal Firearms. To get a Shotgun there takes a bout 6 Months to process the Permit,and a Battery of Background Checks that would do the CIA justice.
The Founding Fathers had one thing in Mind. Defense Of the Citizens against an Overbearing Government,ie,SELFDEFENSE. One does not give up ones Right to Selfdefense when joining a Society,one only Delegates that right to the Powers that Be for an orderly lawful Society.. And only the finest Arms are good enough when it comes to Selfdefense.
It will teach the Politicians that think they could behave like the Almighty a powerful Lesson. That was the Intent of the Second Amendment to the Constitution,not Hunting for Food.
Besides that I am SWISS.And I will Not give up my RIGHT to OWN Arms.
If you don't know the Amendment or the Laws governing Firearms in the US you don't have any business talking about it. Lunatics are not allowed Firearms there.
I had heard of the Knights of Malta,but never really looked into any details of the Order. Somehow,the Templars were more intriguing,so I guess the more realistic and mundane facts of the Maltese Order is taking a bit of a backseat.
