Very probable, yes. Though I won't be voting, due to the lack of options. Could be that the person wants to be single, maybe they are unwilling to settle, maybe they are unhappy with themselves, or maybe they are happy just the way they are... maybe they are waiting for the one that compliments them... etc., etc.

Oh, in that case - no, I do not believe that just because a person is single that there is something "wrong" with them...
Not to say that it isn't a possibility, but it's too general to claim that is the case for every single person. That is my feeling, anyway.

Why is it so wrong to admit that there is something wrong with some singles? SOME not ALL!!!
There are lots of abusive men out there who no one wants to be with as there are manipulative women!!!

I disagree with the notion that we shouldn’t depend or rely on the people and things around us to make us happy or care for us.
We are not hermits living in a cave away from all existence. Humans are an interactive species. That’s why we have social groupings such as families, communities, churches, fraternal organizations, friendships, marriages, tribes, etc… To say that we should find happiness only exclusively within ourselves, undermines the importance of the purpose of these social groupings.
Why bother having families if none of those family members can depend on one another for love, compassion, and happiness? Why have other people in our lives if we never need to depend on others? We all depend on others. We depend on our spouses for love and compassion. We depend on our friends for acceptance and companionship. We depend on our ministers and religious leaders for spiritual guidance. We depend on our parents to care for us as children.
People depend on other people. Implying that we have no collective dependence is to imply we are not human beings.
