When I moved into my new office here, our receptionist cheerfully asked what I wanted on the name plaque for just outside my door - I jokingly replied Resident Gearhead.
Exotics have never interested me much - I'd rather have a small collection, cars and bikes, than one really expensive temperamental beast.

I remember before I relocated, I had a relationship out here. I'd work in California for a couple of weeks at a time, so I'd make the most of it. EVERY time I came over to pick her up, I brought flowers. Her roommate said I was turning their place into something that resembled a funeral parlor...
The safe answer is I would give it serious consideration. I've had a job for some 22 years now and everything that goes along with it (retirement, pension, etc.).
Then again, you look at the gentleman above me - and I would say it's pretty hard to put a price on that...
Being from Michigan, I find the desert pretty amazing as well. We shot a commercial out in the Valley of Fire last year - was amazed at the scenery. Okay, it was a little hot, too.
I would, but like to sleep with the doorwall partially open at night - and the apartment is in view of two others. No sense scaring the bejeezus out of the neighbors...
