Sgt. Crowley has seen many things in his career. Just my opinion, but he is not going to start public scene over householder entering his house thru a window.
Not saying that Sgt. Crowley could not have had a bad day, hence he could have started it.....we all do. But most police departments quickly add the number of complaints on a officer, those that hit a level of complaints with merit, soon are drawing unemployment.
I bet if someone check arrest records on 'disorderly conduct arrest', a large percentage would occur at the residence. Loud parties, a boom box playing in a condo/apartment, yelling at a police officer on a domestic violence call.....all fall into disorderly conduct charges.
The officer arrested him because the noise and disturbance being done to his neighbors.......
A anaylist is saying if el Presidente' Obama gets his health care....it will take 10 years to impliment. Meaning 10 years of medical limbo for senior Americans that have the majority of health issues. Will Medicaide cover it? Or will the new national health care plan? Or will my private insurer cover it?
The bill is 1068 pages long.....and it is not complete. Few will get chance to read it in Congress before the vote. el Presidente' Obama is now saying that it might not be done till 4th quarter of this year.

Having 32 Csars to run things....lets the elected politician..... run continuously for office. He was elected to run things, no 32 Czars. But with the executive office he has put together.....he is clueless to what is going on in his government.
But having a small group of people to run things.....is exactly how.....el Presidente Castro runs things. How the Russian Primeir ran things under the communist government. How the Chinese Primier runs things today.
el Presidente' Obama has aborgated his office and elected duties to these 32 CSARS. So he can pass his legislative agenda on socialising the country, so he can campaign full time, so he can do the foreign apology tour.

With a national health care plan....government would control 45% of the nation economy. Presently after the bailouts is 40%. Germany is at 46% government control...most consider it a socialist/democratic country. He passes health care....he get his socialist country. At the expense of the elderly, that paid their entire lives in social security, medicare,......

A month ago he ask his czars to cut $100m from the trillion dollar budgets and TARP I and II packages. Today was the cut off day....they could not cut a measilly $100m...from their budgets.
The bailout banks.....well they are doing fine now.....main street America....where the votes are is not doing so fine. SBA, VA, FHA, and other loans programs are hard to qualify for.
Small banks.....well are going out business at a record rate.

First time unemployment claims reduced by 56,000 last month. From 630,000 to 574,000. But we now get into the accounting methods being used.
Appartentaly the Department of Labor has some "new accounting methods" that are trying to take into account the Chryslter and GM events.
Seems if you were fired or laid off because of the bankrupcty of the two firms....and filed for a claim on unemployment.....that some how falls into a 'new catagory' of unemployed to the Dept of Labor.

Admit it Jvaksi....none of the major news talked about the July 4th Tea Parties.....but guess what.....they were larger from what I heard than the first ones in April. Confiming the opinion of many of the media's tanking for the DEMs and Obama. Maybe MJ death and burial media had something to do with that as well.
There is a split in the Tea parties at present. A small group want to do a walk out in June.....bring the country to a halt.... by not working and not buying. Calling in "Conservative" at work.
They are calling the 'Gault day', after John Gault of Atlas Shrugged.
Other in the Tea Party movement think that it sends the wrong message. That the walk out is too much like socialism. It should be interesting!!

But the House majority leaders....said 'a second stimulus packages might be needed' and economic adviser Of Pres. O said the same in a economic conference in Indonesia.
Ever notice how they make these announcement when they are out of the country.....and we, the taxpayers, cannot tar and feather them?
Shucks when you have only spent 6% of TARP II....and are already asking for another stimulus packages what does that say??? TARP II was only $767b dollars....someone has $715b of it sitting around some place. Please don't tell us you lost $715b dollars, PLEASE!

Fallingman....something we (the United States)have learned over the years. There are groups of people in the world that dislike us to the extend that they will kill us when given the chance. No matter how much kissing up we will do or to who.....they will hate us. So 'making friends' is not necessarily the high priority here when it comes to National Security of our country.
Most of us would rather look our friends in the eyes, acknowledge that these people exist. And figure ways to halt them. Because they are threat to our friends as well. There we have a large common ground and solid purpose.
But going around the world ..just to make friends...specially if making friends is done mostly with a check book....does not make for a good and healthy friendship. The sugar daddy relationship comes to mind.
I think that there are some good people within the Obama administration that are trying and trying hard. I also think that there are some people within his administration that are very ideological locked to liberal positions....they think that check book will win us friends around the world.
The other side of this is like WWII's D-Day...where the English, Americans and Canadians had a common reason and dedicated goal...to work together and to take big risks together.
I would rather have a dedicated friend than a bought one, any day of the week, Fallingman.
Zee, I don't know. It is one of those tomorrow questions in waters we have never been before. Some firms have done employee owned programs that were successful. Delta is a good example....succcessful for quiet a time as employeed own.
As a factory worker for a time, myself....I hear what you are saying. The union represents the worker and management represents the ownership group.
I was for the gov't loan programs...they made more sense to me than the bailouts. Companies would borrow what they needed to survive. The bailouts all seem to these large dollar figures that seem to mystically come from gov't. How gov't is coming up with the figures has not really been explained very well.
Yes, President Obama has been transparent on the money. But not so much the process of how they coming to the amounts.
In other words, it could be....I have hat....and put big numbers on paper slips in it....and draw out a slip when needed....:-) It is the same concept of the shoe box were one put the glass jar were one puts his bills owed.:-) Just on the billion dollar level.:-)

This was a test, I think. With the nuc testing prior and then the serise of missiles and rocket tests....sailing the Kong Nam that had been used as a weapon vessel in the past....was sure to get attention of many.
Kim wanted to see how far he could push. If he could sail unchallenged to foreign ports. Now he knows....the US will tail his vessels...and foreign countries will refuse him entry.

I wrote and submitted 3 white paper to McCain during the campaign. He did two of them. So we share some of the same thinking....
Even on those...he varied the presentation and the message some. No adviser sees perfectly into a canidate's thinking process. All one can do is give him your best research and best position.
Obama is learning and has had some wins.
The hostage Capt Phillips release is one. The turn around of the NKorean ship is another. The Ruskies letting military weapons across their country. Iraq is staying cold. He has mil operations going on in Adghanistan that are well designed and objectived in my opinion.
Are REP critical? Sure. You would not want us any other way. Because it make you better as you govner. It needs to be a fair and honest criticism......REP miss being that at times.
No one sees tomorrow. Those magic powers I wish I had about 100 time this last 8 years.
Don't get me wrong....there are still big questionarks...here....what McCain would have done with the housing crisis...with health care....overcoming the DEM majority in Congress...with the Supreme Court nomination....these are all big issues as well.....and I don't know.
But on those positions....yes....with the exception of earmarks and pork....where he would have likely used the bully bulpit to push Congress to the stop. That takes time. Most of the rest are executive decisions. Easy enough to do from the White House.
Even Sarah Palin....he could have asked for her resignation after 2 and 1/2 months...:-)
I have asked myself this question a few times in the last months.
Here are the differences had McCain won, I think.
McCain first promoted gov't loans to the failing companies. Regarding the second TARP package, he might have come back to that position of loans vs bailouts.
McCain would be more aggressive in Pakistan. He would have seen the opportunity to place US forces into the tribal area for a on the ground search for bin Laden.
Washington DC reform. The earmarks and the pork would have stopped. McCain did not take a earmark in his lengthy term as US Senator.
No apology tour on the global scene. McCain might have made face to face apologies with leaders of foreign countries. But a stand up speech to millions...I doubt would have occurred.
He would not be talk nuc reduction with the Russians yet. Putin, a man that McCain does not trust is still running the gov't there. He would not enter into disarmament talks with those he did not trust.
GITMO....GITMO stays. There would be no release for the GITMO detainees untill more resolution of the conflict with AlQeada had been met.
Air Force would not have buzzed NYC. Nancy Polosi would not have called the CIA liars. Bills in Congress would be read prior to be voted on. ACORN would have a FED Gov't investigation.
Iraq withdrawal date would remain unannouced. Btu McCain is to much of a military man, to leave 1000s of troops in the country. Some withdrawal with a cooled Iraq would have occurred.

I think that he had a chance to see if bin Laden was really inside Pakistan or not. By not getting the Pakistani gov't approval to allow US forces into the Waristan and Swat Valley provinces (the two provinces that the CIA feels bin Laden would be in) only bad things can come from it.
With the violence in Pakistan and the US footing the much of the bill there, US forces inside the country was very doable, in my opinion.
It was very near campaign promise as well he made on getting bin Laden. But he did not seem interested in fulfilling it.
So? If the door was open at all for such a assistance with a limited time and limited presence in the country.....why did he not open it completely....???
With out the search in those two provinces, we are still guessing to where bin Laden is. Relining on Pakistan to search for us....when their military has many connections to AlQeada and Taliban....well is not smart.
